Ibanez Lo B Pickups
I've got an Ibanez PL5050. I replaced the EQ with a Bartolini NTMB module. Currently, the low 2 strings pick up, work totally as normal. The top 2 strings do not seem to be picking up.
Here's the weird part - I guess these are active pickups. I do not have them hooked up to the battery at all. The EQ is connected to the battery, but the pickups themselves are not. I taped the red wire up and just let it be. The picture is terrible, I forgot I needed one to post here so just using what I had.
Can someone please help me understand what is going on here? Do i need to wire the pickups to a battery? If so, why am I getting half function with no power connection? Do I need to connect the loose battery wire to something? What? I'm at a loss here! Thanks for your help.
