I read this fic many years ago and haven’t been able to find it since in my bookmarks or through the search feature or any elaborate search engine shenanigans. I feared it had been deleted so I got really sad and gave up for a long while, but I recently unearthed this screenshot again, my only clue this fic even existed, and hoped someone here may recognize it.

I read it on ao3, and I believe one of the tags was “touch starved” or maybe “touch starved Will Graham”

- fic is complete, maybe 1 chapter long
- I read it a couple years before covid
- post-Mizumono, possibly post-WotL

"I'm surprised," Hannibal admits.

"Are you? You were the person who touched me the most before you went on the run. When I was incarcerated, it was all I could remember of being touched. You used to handle me a lot."

"I still do," Hannibal chimes in. Will huffs a laugh.

"Yeah- but I mean. Back then, I wasn't always aware of it. I had dreams which I knew were memories: you stroking my hair, and my back, and comforting me. It became almost Pavlovian to me. I think it's why I wasn't afraid, even when I knew you were going to hurt me. I didn't associate your touch with fear, even though I should.”

Hello, I believe this fic was deleted, and I unfortunately do not remember the title or author's name :((

It was a Hannigram genderbend fic, in which Will is a woman named to Wilhelmina. It was written in a beautiful stream-of-conscious prose, and in the story, Hannibal baby-traps Will. It was incomplete at the time I read it, and I'm unsure if it was ever completed.

Some distinct story details I remember are: -She only went by Wil/Will to almost everyone. Hannibal is one of the few who would use Wilhelmina with her. -They end up married and honeymoon in Europe (I believe it might've been in France or Italy)
-Will having small sips of wine during her pregnancy on their honeymoon, medically approved by Hannibal (this detail stands out to me even now bc I thought it was a wild thing for Hannibal to ok!)
-Will finding out about the baby-trapping and losing it
-Hannibal commenting on how much he loves the name "Wilhelmina"

Any help on this is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hi! I'm looking for a Hannigram fanfic I read recently on AO3, but I can't find it anymore. It was in English and completed. It was a fake dating/pretend relationship fic that took place around Season 2, after Will got out of prison (canon divergence/AU). At the beginning, Hannibal leaves food for Will after his release, and I remember Will thinking something like, "They want me to believe he's a good person" (not the exact wording). Hannibal and Alana were flirting but weren't officially together, and Alana would often have lunch with Will and talk about what she and Hannibal had done over the weekend. Later, Will and Hannibal start fake dating, attend an art gallery together, and talk with other guests. I also remember a scene where someone shows interest in Hannibal and Will says something like, "He's my boyfriend" (again, not the exact wording). There are several scenes of Will and Hannibal cooking dinner together before guests arrive. The last part I remember reading was Hannibal inviting Will to dinner, Will saying he already had plans, and Hannibal going to Will's house instead. I'm not completely sure every detail is 100% accurate, but these are the scenes I remember most clearly. Does anyone recognize this fic? I'd really appreciate any help. Thank you!

Just found out about the Cake/Fork Cannibalism AU and holy crap how are there not more fics in our fandom using that? Is this a new AU? 🤔

Maybe i have too much confidence in this fandom because why am i not worried that there might be some AI-generated hannigram fics on ao3? Just got off Twitter where fandoms are outing fics generated by ai on the site. Apparently, you can now check if it's ai via the claude checker code as a site skin (i dont understand it fully bc im dumb with things like that lol).

I am just happy that this fandom is more than a decade old and that most of the fics were written pre-ai. I understand the worry though of fans of new shows (i'm in the akotsk fandom and recently some famous fics were flagged).

I dont understand "writers" who use it. Why are you so proud of a material that was only made into fruition via a prompt? 🙁 i'll honestly choose a fic with grammatical errors and plot holes over an ai fic. Dont be discouraged in making mistakes in writing (if that's the reason why ppl use ai instead). No wonder some famous new shows have suddenly garnered so much fics in such a short span of time.

Anyway, i really hope though that the recent hannigram fics arent ai-generated because that would be so disheartening :((

i used to be in this fandom for two-three years but then dipped to the heated rivalry mess!!!! but that shit is the most toxic-anxiety driven fandom i have ever been in :)

(i even tried to write for them and swooped up 500,000 plus hits but they acted like they hated me and needed me at the same, rating chapters in the bookmarks, messaging me on twitter to say how they hated a plot point, curse me out for not posting for two weeks and yeah)

so i am shyly coming back and really want to know if any works have been published since last november i should read!!!! i’ve already done all the big ones and little ones from 2016 i feel to then but i need to know what i have missed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeye, soo I'm looking for fanfic recommendations with an OFC (Clarice Starlight type of), not necessarily or strictly romantic, but more of a crime genre, where the protagonist is actively fighting against Hannibal and Will if necessary. I'm tired of only seeing AO3 fanfics where the protagonist is abused or madly in love with Hannibal and Will. Does anyone know of any?

So i have been reading a lot of fanfics and not one has successfully continued the cat and mouse game of Will and Hannibal. I want to find a post-fall fic with Will accepting and exploring his darkness but still struggels to let himself be with Hannibal and to accept him.
I dont need smut at all but it can be there as long as its not the prime focus.

i’ve been on the search for a while now for a hannigram fic that is on the longer side with smut, but that is more casual reading if that makes sense? something fun and not too serious. i’m fine with angst (as long as it’s resolved) but im really looking for an enjoyable longer fic i can pick up here and there as a palette cleanser to more intense and emotional fics. smut is great.

I love seeing hannigram being all lovey dovey but I also love them being so toxic to eachother, if anybody has any recs I really appreciate it.

Been craving some of these since I read one for a different fandom. Surely Hannibal has to have at least one, or even just similar vibes?

The closest I can think of that I’ve read is Hierarchy of Needs by xzombiexkittenx, where Will isn’t kept chained to a bed or anything like that, but also he’s the only member of Hannibal’s zombie apocalypse survivor camp who isn’t really given the choice NOT to be there (and the people closest to them know it).

Any level of consent is fine, darkfic doesn’t bother me at all. Thank you in advance!
