Work from home and cat hair gets in my laptop

Working from home with my cat means she sits near my laptop all day. Cat hair gets in the keyboard and vents. Already had to get my laptop cleaned once because of fur buildup affecting the fan. She loves being near me while I work so keeping her away isn't realistic. How do people who work from home manage cat shedding around electronics?

Dog hair embedded in bed sheets?

My dog sleeps in bed with me. The sheets have so much hair embedded that washing doesn't get it all out. What actually works for getting dog hair out of fabric?

Is this company a scam? I still haven’t received my order and shipping information says it’s coming from Algeria. I ordered 4/28/26. 19 days later it says it still in transit. Don’t waste your money.

* Ordered 4/29/26

Shepherd undercoat is defeating me

I pull out massive amounts of fur when I brush my GSD. Like enough to build another dog. Yet he still sheds constantly all over the house. What am I missing? Is there a specific type of tool that actually gets the undercoat instead of just surface fur?

Terrified to trim black nails

My dogs nails are completely black and I can't see the quick at all. Every time I try I'm paranoid I'm going to hurt him. Vet charges 30 bucks each visit which adds up. Is there a method that's safer for black nails or do I just accept the vet bill?

Grooming gloves vs regular brush for shedding?

Keep seeing grooming gloves recommended. Do they actually work better than a regular brush or is it just marketing?

Dog freaks out at the sound of clippers

Before I even touch him he hears the clippers click and starts panicking. Pretty sure the noise is the trigger not the actual trimming. Has anyone found quieter options that actually work? Willing to invest in something if it reduces his stress.

Worth buying expensive nail tools?

Currently using cheap clippers from Walmart. My dog hates them. Wondering if spending more on better equipment actually makes a difference or if he'll hate it regardless.
