Question about checking in for parking

Question about checking in for parking

Sorry if this has been asked or if I’m missing something really obvious! This is my first time attending this festival, I am flying in from out of state and I am thinking of getting a rental car + parking pass! However, from the website it says that checking in for parking only starts on Friday…? I’m super confused by this given the festival starts on Thursday!! I should say I also have a 4-day GA pass…

I know it says its borrowing the event details from 2025, but unless I’m mistaken it seems like 2025’s Hinterland also began on Thursday? Just not sure why it says its only from Fri-Sun.

Please help a gal out. Thank you!!!!

PS — Im going by myself, 26f. Would love if anyone who is excited to see Ashnikko, Lorde, THE FORMAT and/or wants to adopt me during the fest wants to link up hahaha!!!

hinterland pt 2!

hello reddit. another question!

as of now, car camping for hinterland is way cheaper than any hotel right now. so, with that being said, my friend and i are thinking of car camping!

we are only attending sunday to see young miko and kali uchis along with some of the other amazing artists.

what would be a reasonable time to check our vehicle in. this is my first time attending hinterland so i don’t know much.

any advice would be appreciated. thank you!

First time - shuttle

First timer here and I’m doing all 4 days. I have shuttle passes as well. My question is for anyone experienced with the shuttles. Does the shuttle only go to hinterland and the start of the day and pick up at night? Or is there a schedule for the entire time? I’m asking mainly because Saturday might be more of a chill day until the evening time but I also don’t want to miss the shuttle. Any help is appreciated ☺️

Bonus question: when do they typically post the set times? Saturday I really only want to see Mumford and Julia Wolf but I fear they’re going to be complete opposite ends of the setlist 😭

Shuttle passes

Hello! I received my wristband in the mail today, and i was wondering if my shuttle pass was somehow "linked" to it or if i access it a different way.

Camping Vibes

Very excited for my first hinterland, car camping with some of my buddies. What is the campsite vibe like? Are people hanging out with other campers? Do people play music? Or is it more mind your business?

Considering this year what’s it like?

Hi all! I’m considering hinterland this year. I would probably be solo, which is nerve wracking because it’ll be my first solo fest. I’ve been to Bonnaroo in 2024 and 2025, and went to lolla in 2024. I’m thinking of car camping possibly. My usual camping set up is a canopy and cot. Do we think this fest would be a good first time solo fest? What is the festival like overall? Will I be upset about the lack of edm or will everything else make up for it?

premium parking

I know parking has been a mess the last few years but parking would be nice so we can store things in our car but how much better would premium parking be? or should I just settle for the shuttle?

Why would tickets arrive separately?

I ordered me and my friend VIP but before I made that decision, I ordered a four ga for myself and I’m just wondering why they arrive separately if I ordered way before they were shipped. They also are blue this year !!

Going alone to my first festival.

Hey y'all, I have a one-day pass, and I was supposed to go with my gf, but long story short, I'll be going alone. Does anyone have any advice for going alone or any other way to make new friends. I'm a tad shy but totally open to making new friends and meet knew people. Just kinda asking how or if I should go alone. Thank you all!

Wednesday vs Thursday arrival

Is it worth setting up camp Wednesday around 4pm instead of first thing Thursday morning? Are food/showers/hang out spaces open Wednesday night?

Also, does tent camping "fill up" (at least the good areas)? Where's the best part of tent camping?

Thank you for any help! This is my second year at Hinterland, but last time was before they moved it.
