Why don’t think like Katie?
I don’t feel like we got an answer for why beau, Taylor and Kristina don’t like Katie? They told us they didn’t but why? Shouldn’t a reality show answer these questions? Is it just because Stassi was on the outs with her?

This has been bothering me since I've been watching her podcast. Why is she a grown woman calling people losers? its so weird to me
I was really hopeful for house of Stassi but it honestly was such a let down. The cast entirely needs to be scrapped with the exception of Stassi (it’s her show), Beau, Katie and maybe Kristina; other than that everyone needs to GOOOO.
The over production on Stassis part is driving me insane, I understand it’s her show and she’s trying to ensure it’s a hit with enough drama but the blatant “I’m going to do X so Y and Z will happen” is driving me nuts. What’s also infuriating is that the rest of the cast are COMPLETE yes men to her, especially Taylor. Beau has definitely been seen to challenge this with Stassi, for example the Rob argument Stassi produced at the Staycation.
In all it’s a difficult watch combined with the over editing and constant dings and text on screen as if to tell the viewer “look production wants you to see this” it’s as if the audience is also being produced by Stassi.
The negativity on here is exhausting
Stassi demonstrated that she has not changed in terms of her portrayal on reality television, yes, but the people she surrounds herself with…whew.
What Beau said to her at the rental house dinner was genuinely terrible. I think we glossed over that WAY too quickly. He also has a battered wife complex and if he’s really that unhappy he should get out.
Taylor is incredible self centered and doesn’t care too much about anyone else unless it suits her. It feels like Stassi loves Taylor and Taylor loves Stassi’s fame.
Katie and Stassi’s friendship went downhill when Katie became too wrapped up in herself but what makes Stassi think she’s changed? It still feels like Katie doesn’t want to film unless it’s about her. Her and Taylor are very similar.
Kristina…once a pot stirrer, always a pot stirrer.
Rob sucks.
Don’t get me started on Georgi.
Teddy and maybe Georgia are the only saving graces here.
For YEARS-Taylor has said things here and there, such as ‘there’s only ONE person that I truly hate HATE’ and little things that lead directly to that person being Scheana. I don’t think there’s any recording of them EVER speaking, or even being in the same room. I’d love to know what happened.
It just seems super unusual-more than just not liking her-I feel like Scheana must have done something incredibly vile. The way Taylor stops joking around and gets instantly angry-it doesn’t feel like the ‘normal, fun’ Scheana bashing. The only time I’ve ever heard Scheana speak on it was recently, on her podcast. Taylor’s name came up, and there were about 3 times Scheana said ‘oh, THAT girl…ugh’, ‘THAT person-ugh…’ but she kept getting cut off and it never went further.
Does anyone know the story?
I didn't go into this expecting anything groundbreaking but I expected to have fun, that's why we watch reality shows, right? I don't mind a dislikable cast (I have been locked to VPR since day one) but the drama was so heavy and the moments of levity were ... idk? Butler guy? There were fun backdrops and I appreciate that the editors put a twist on it with the asides.
The show is obviously predicated on you knowing who Stassi is, but the reintroduction of her just felt lazy as did trying to round out the rest of the cast. I mean from a production standpoint I don't know how to sustainable it is to spin off a spin off and know about these people enough that we're dropped into the middle of their lives without much establishment e.g. Stassi's sister is a divorced bisexual artist moving to LA for the first time, you find out that as scraps of information across multiple episodes.
The addressing of the cancellation pmo more than anything else on the show, because how are you in a self-aware, unfiltered 4th wall breakingb show and not address that you got cancelled because of racism. Instead you bring in work colleagues from your other show to address the cancellation, not what you did.
That’s all. She’s terminally narcissistic. Couldn’t watch (“watch”) more than a couple of episodes.
Am i missing something? Georgia said Kindergarten so he said "I'll save you some play doh"...was there some extra meaning behind this? Cause everyone seemed shocked and Stassi said "I hope they cut that" and I didn't think anything of it?
Heyyyyyy so, I think I have a complaint but not necessarily about the show, it’s about the fans. I was a liker of Stassi as a reality tv personality, so when I saw this I thought oh cool a continuation of spoiled queen content. (If anyone watched queen bee back in the the day I expected that behavior too) Anyway! Idk why people are so disappointed? If you watched VPR we know who she is, and the previews didn’t promise better behavior from what I recall. We also see who her mom is (smh) so her behavior isn’t surprising. This is entertainment, and I love watching the show because I’m DEF entertained (I’m on episode 5 I think).
Stassi will never be in my life, these behaviors do not affect me. Every person on the show signed up for this so I’m sure they will be fine.
I watch tv to be distracted and enjoy brain rot time- I thought that’s why we’re here… looking at peoples reviews - if you can’t stand her why are you watching it? And finishing it? And then being mad 😂please. I want to watch this and have fun shit talk, not “she’s a horrible human being, get a divorce” talk like geesh Don’t put yourself through things you don’t like. Hate watching still pays.
I also don’t really plan on replying or going back and forth, this is just my opinion i wanted to vent and I can’t really be swayed on this.
Yall I can hold my hands up and admit when I am wrong, i misremembered and Kristina did not encourage the photo. But I will stand ten toes down she’s a shitty person and bully.
I’ve never liked Kristina, I’ve always found her to be mean and borderline mean girl bullying on VPR towards Scheana. In the first season when Stassi has her birthday in Vegas and she has her falling out with Katie and Kristen over Jax showing up to dinner, it was Kristina who suggested Stassi take a group photo of her and the rest of the SUR employees that went and post it so Katie and Kristen would see they were left out. Kristina practically salivated every time Stassi and Katie fought. Maybe she was jealous? Katie wasn’t always the nicest and I didn’t love her all the time, but I def think she’s a better friend than Kristina Kelly. And now that Katie’s back, it’s more than evident Kristina feels threatened and is trying to rally Taylor against Katie because that’s the only other person closest to Stassi (besides Beau and we know how he feels).
After taking a long break from reality tv, I was curious. I just finished watching. I don’t even know where to start. I was expecting actual growth from Stassi? What did I miss? I truly don’t understand. All I took from the show is that Stassi wants to build an empire à la Kris Kardashian (gross?), be enormously famous, and everyone around her exists merely to serve her in her quest for wealth and influence.
I felt like I was watching Cluster B personality disorders everywhere, especially BPD and NPD. Katie was a breath of fresh air, and she unwittingly summarized the entire show: unless you are on her payroll or she birthed you, she has no purpose for you (except for Katie because she needed another compelling reality vet to help carry the show). Her breakdown at the end was exactly my experience with diagnosed BPD people. She turns everything on everyone else and becomes the biggest victim on the room when her behavior is questioned. It was hard to watch.
Also her cancellation references were so awful. Girl, it didn’t happen to you. You received natural consequences for abhorrent (and potentially very dangerous) behavior. It was a clinic in not truly owning your actions.
I’m kind of just… grossed out by all of it? Ick. Thanks for a place to rant. Now I’ll swear off reality tv for another couple years 😬…
PS - She has had excellent work done, and I’m glad she’s at least owning all of that. There, I said something nice! Haha.
Stassi's first interview after she was fired from Vanderpump Rules was about ~3 months later with Tamron Hall on the Tamron Hall show.
The interview is in three parts:
- Part 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InNxnCycZ6c
- Part 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rnn-hxcq5oo
- Part 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpvREJI1pt0
After this interview happened, Stassi and her team, unprompted, reacted by releasing an exclusive statement to Us Magazine which included the following:
"Stassi felt totally unprepared for the interview,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “She wasn’t in a good mood afterward and felt like she was put on the spot. She has built her brand on being candid and funny, and she feels afraid to make any wrong comments or jokes and having them come across negatively, which, in turn, made the interview awkward.” A second source from Stassi's camp: “Producers laid the segments out for Stassi and her team, and everything was all set. And then, to everyone’s surprise, Tamron went rogue and took the interview in a completely different direction.”
Which then forced Tamron Hall to go on the defense, and defend her actions in the interview.
- Tamron talking about this on SiriusXM (during which Tamron mentions she found out that multiple outlets had been shopped the story, not just Us Magazine): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHbICsGe5V8
- Tamron talking about the negative reaction on her own show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4RM93YGYRg
So to recap - Stassi was given a platform for openly explaining what work she had been putting in to demonstrate that in the future she would apply more consciousness about the biases in her actions how those have and had impact others, and what the weight of the damage was that she did to many communities with her words/actions over the years, including the black community.
Stassi's FIRST response to the FIRST time she was given a chance to do so was to attack and call the black women who gave her that platform a liar, forcing that same black women (Tamron Hall) to actively go out and defend herself.
I realize it has been ~six years, but my blood still boils thinking about not only the sheer hypocrisy, but also how brazen it was to call a famed reporter/talk show host a liar purely because she was upset by the reaction to the interview that was based on Stassi's original actions. How someone could treat another person that way who had extended such a kindness to try and give you a chance at any sort of redemption, only to shit on them is a level of ignorance I can't comprehend.
Against my better judgement, I watched the show to see what it was about. I am so lost… like what is the vision? What is the plot? What is the point of this? I thought we were going to see her getting it together. I’m just like lost.
I will say, this show made me actually like Katie. So I guess that is a silver lining? Umm what’s up with their sisters though? Both are strange.
I am done with the infantilization of Stassi Schroeder. She is a racist, vile, lady who never gave a fuck about her actions (even if they could have almost killed someone).
I did not like how she said that VPR protected the men on HOS. While this is true, the creator talks about how LVP protected Stassi just as much. Stassi was protected just as much as the men of VPR were. LVP loves defending toxic, abusive, racist assholes. Did we forget how Brandi treated Joyce from s4 of RHOBH and how LVP was quiet as a mouse.
In 2018 a vast majority of white people understood what happens if you call the cops on a black person with a fake allegation.
I didn't know one of the reasons why she was cancelled is she called the cops on a black person with a fake allegation. Shes disgusting. That's not just a bad move on her part, that's an absolutely treacherous demon move..2018??. Its giving...lady with the dog in the bird ramble.. I won't be checking in for s2 I can't give someone like that money, no matter how entertaining thats just how my morals work tho. I don't think you outgrow/live learn that. 2018?? Bro, that was after philandro castile, eric gardner, tamir rice and freddie grey. Production had to roll out the 1 black person in her life to talk about it and you could see the disgust on the girls face, rightfully so. That's disgusting.
Edit-Part of the incident is Kristen and Nastassia Bianca Schroeder saw in a tabloid a black lady was committing some robberies. Called the cops and reported Faith.
Million Dollar Nanny is way more interesting and actually makes me want to keep watching. Meanwhile, House of Stassi has me struggling to care.
I’ve always loved Stassi for her sharp wit, funny comebacks and confidence. But watching this show has me not feeling the same way.
She seems to always behave from a point of manipulation above all else. She stirs the pot and watches, literally smiling, then plays victim whenever it finally comes back onto her. This won her fans on VPR where everyone was awful, but seeing it happen to nice people like Beau makes it read differently.
She does not care about Beau. She uses him as her nanny and emotional support human, but does not care if she’s making him happy or reciprocating in the relationship. I think Beau is terrified of her and as a result walks on eggshells and bottles emotions. I think he worries he chose wrong but is in too deep now to do anything about it so he’s unraveling.
Lastly- this one is gratuitous, but wtf is up with her kids’ names?? Hartford is bad but MESSER?? Awful. Straight to jail for those names alone. She’s just selfish all around.
Highly recommend… He touched on so many things that I’ve been thinking about with the show. And something he brought up that I had forgotten about was the whole baby name reveal at dinner. Why did Taylor make it seem like they were naming the baby after Beau when she has been adamant on her podcast and in her real life that the baby is named after her mother and her uncle?? It’s just more proof that this show is staged and they think we’re all idiots.
