Im a GNEF 9/8/7 with my undergrad in sociology, vercel is predicting a percentile of 99.8-9+ for BLACKI, how accurate is it with my degree and what are my chances considering my extracurriculars and other aspects of my profile are pretty good. I’d love some guidance. Thank you

Hello,
I am an MBA aspirant, and I have been hearing a lot of this about strict CV vetting on campus across a lot of MBA colleges.
My college GPA is around 8.1 (rigorous engineering degree with relative grading)
My college would not convert it into a percentage unless asked, but if they had to, they have mentioned that the conversion factor is 9.8 and not 10. So my GPA becomes 79.9%.
Would my profile be considered a 9/9/8 or a 9/9/7, especially for admissions and for SI shortlists?
My post MBA targets are MBBK.
For context, my college is fairly new, with regular Mckinsey and BCG front end hiring straight out of undergrad (top tier in their eyes).
Please help me out! Thank you!

Work Ex: 11 months in marketing. Life Sciences industry.

Was the Joint Secretary of a literary club during UG. Did 5 internships during UG in finance, sales and marketing as well.

I go for beach/river clean up drives occasionally and plan on joining an NGO part- time this year.

Scored a 96.33% in CAT'25. Convertible waitlist at IIFT but plan on retaking for ABC

Am I too late for a 2 year MBA?

I want to pivot from cyber consulting to product or MBB which is almost impossible without an MBA in the Indian context.

I am not inclined to PGPX as avg batch YoE is 6+ plus no summer internships.

Will my overshooting workex impact my chances during shortlist post or pre PI?

Some advice and percentile to target for BLACKISM/FMS would be helpful as well.

Same as above, I have about 2 yrs left (3rd year starts this year). So should i participate in ICPC or some other competitions solely for this? or leave everything and try to score perfect in CAT? (ofc i am in beginner stages and out of touch so rn IIM A (not even B or C) hehe)

Working as a Commodity Trader at a company where 40-50% workforce is from IIT/NIT/BITS and will be having 12 months of workex till filling CAT form and 19 months workex till GDPI…Will I stand a chance for converting IIM A B C even if I get exceptional percentile in CAT? Like do they have people with 80 in 12th or 75-80 in grad for general category?
