Do gym trainers normally ask female clients for selfies?

I (19 F) recently joined a gym, and my trainer ( around 30-35 year old ) is a guy. I didn't opt for personal training, only general training. Which is supposed to consist of them giving us a workout plan and we get to just follow that.

But the trainer is telling me to send pics of my face before and after the gym to see how tired I get after workouts, I mean can't he just see if I get too tired at the gym itself?

Then to send pics of my meals throughout the day. He also asked me stuff other than the gym like how was my exam and if I reached home, and then said something like I thought of asking you to take a selfie, when I asked why, he said to see your reaction after your exams. Like bro.

So is this something normal at the gym? Do trainers ask people to send pics of their face before and after workout?

I Just joined a GYM and i have so many questions.

First of all am like super nervous and shy. It was my days 2 in the GYM

I Made a Plan with ChatGPT for workout PLAN

Questions

  1. Do I need to pay extra to ask how to use a machine or what is the correct form
  2. Can I use the machine after someone is done or wait till all of there sets are finished
  3. Should I rotate between machine or complete one machine at a time
  4. what is a Personal Trainer do i need to hire them for more than one day ?
  5. I feel like people will judge me for my beginner form since i have 0 gym experience
  6. The adjustments are like spacecraft buttons to me idk how to handle them ..i feel like asking the people for adjustments in all the machine would annoy them so i try to watch youtube in front of the machine in the gym lol

finally any tips for me ?

Mouth gets dehydrated every 3 sets during workout even though I drink water consistently l, how do I reduce this?

I’ve noticed that during gym workouts, after every 3 sets or so, my mouth feels extremely dry/dehydrated and I end up drinking water very frequently throughout the session.

The weird part is I already drink water consistently before and during the workout, so I’m not sure why this keeps happening.

What changes helped you reduce excessive thirst/dry mouth during workouts without affecting performance ?

How to do squats perfectly? Mere se nhi ho rha😭

26 F , 45kg.

Been almost half year since I joined the gym but I am still unable to do squats properly. I have tried all that i could however I am unable to maintain the correct posture while doing it. If I do two of them right,I'll do the rest of them wrong. I tried doing bench squats and normal squat as well. According to my partner, my knees tend to bend a lot more than required and they tend to go forward than my toes. He has been trying really hard to teach me how to do them properly but I am not doing as he is expecting them to. It honestly feel bad looking at other people in the gym almost doing perfect squats and then there is me who is struggling to get them right. Need guidance and suggestions. Thank you.

Plant Protein Options in India

I’ve been eating mostly plant-based for 6 months and needed a clean protein no artificial stuff. Been using Naturaltein chocolate 1kg for about 4 months now.
Taste:
It was better than I expected for plant protein. Not as smooth as whey, but with oat milk it’s pretty decent. Slightly grainy but that’s kind of expected with pea/rice blends.
Digestion:
This was my main concern but no issues at all. No bloating or weird stomach stuff even after regular use.
Ingredients:
Main reason I picked it. Pretty clean label no artificial sweeteners, uses stevia, no soy.
Overall:
If you’re vegan/plant-based and want something clean, it’s a solid option. Bit on the expensive side, but does what it says.

Summoning Experts

Hi everyone! It's been two days since I (F24) started going to the gym. The first two days were mostly about arms and back, I guess? I am a novice regarding this whole thing, and I've noticed that during arm curls my left arm can't even curl once, but I can do it easily with my right arm using a 2.5 kg weight. Today I am noticing slight swelling around my left elbow, and I am not able to fully relax or move my arm (similar for the right one as well but without swelling). Is this normal? I've done the routine under the supervision of the trainer , I don't think I've done too much but being self aware ik my arm strength is very weak and my left arm is relatively much weaker than my right.

Need your inputs? Should I be alarmed or concerned?
