I was totally unaware that i was approaching a road under repair, as i was tailgating a vehicle hastily.

The pickup truck ahead of me had clear view of barricades, after seeing it, he could have stopped or slowed down but instead he suddenly veered to left to avoid stopping and waiting his turn to enter the other lane later.

I was in a bit of hurry and failed to keep some distance to him, i almost got boxed out , ignored road signs, somehow dangerously swerved to left to avoid hitting the barricades. Unfortunately the vehicle behind was doing same mistake of tailgating and he didn't had any place left to shift lane and ended up hitting the barricades.

a minor issue that got cascaded and escalated quickly. luckily nothing major happened as the speed was around 60.

I felt bad for the the guy behind me, i was not sure whether to stop or what to do as it was super hot outside and my wife was sleeping in the back. I continued my journey cursing myself till I spotted a policemen holding a what looked like a speed gun.

Eventually a speed gun caught me and got penalised, i thought I deserved it.

Lot of Lessons learnt.

A woman was injured in a hit-and-run incident after being knocked down by an unidentified car while crossing the road near the Anandapur bus stand in Sagar taluk of Shivamogga district.

According to reports, the accident occurred when the woman was attempting to cross the road near the busy bus stand area.

The unidentified vehicle allegedly struck her and fled the scene without stopping.

The entire incident was reportedly captured on nearby CCTV cameras, which are now expected to aid police in identifying the vehicle and tracing the driver involved.

Local residents immediately rushed to help the injured woman and shifted her to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

The incident falls under the jurisdiction of the Anandapur Police Station.

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the hit-and-run incident.

I was driving my car quite normally down the road, on the right side. There no almost no space between my car and the divider, when a stupid biker just tried to overtake me and he totally crashed into my car. Then he had the audacity to say that he was going straight and i barged my car into him. How do such shameless people exist on indian roads?

PS can someone please run the number plate and help me identify this person?
