Check: electric vehicle system warning

Driving back from grocery run yesterday, car suddenly slowed down 41mph with the Check: electric vehicle system warning along with red battery symbol and car alert symbol. Could switch lanes and drive at 41 for a few mins and then it slowed downed further. The P1A961C and P1A9096 codes popped up on the app. Pulled over to the shoulder and had to get the car towed to the dealership. Need to talk to them on Monday to confirm but seems to be the ICCU issue. A review of this reddit forum and general search shows that hyundai hasnt really fixed this issue, atleast not satisfactorily. Ioniq calligraphy with ~12000 miles. No issues or symptoms with the battery/drivetrain leading up to this. Had been in the dealership a couple of times with excessive wind noise on the driver side. We were so happy with the car for the first 8-9 months but this and the dealership experience has dulled that down quite a bit. Will update to confirm post actions.

UPDATE: Dealer called to confirm it was the ICCU issue. Good news is that they can get the part and get the fix done tomorrow - silver linings and all that.

I'm looking to get an Ioniq 38kWh, and am wondering what the best wireless Android Auto adapter is for it (I'm under the impression that by default it only supports wired Android Auto).

Any advice?

Ioniq PHEV stuck in park, trunk won’t open

My 2020 Hyundai Ioniq PHEV just got stuck in park after stopping for gas. The shiftlock release worked, so I’m able to drive the car, but it immediately locks again when placed into park. Additionally, I cannot get the trunk to open with the fob even touching the button. Guessing it’s something electrical, since I was able to open the trunk and shift the car just 5 minutes prior.

Additionally, my car is automatically locking itself right now. I don’t believe it normally does that, but I also just reset to factory default trying everything to get the car into gear before popping off the shiftlock release cover

Fob battery was replaced a few months ago. Doesn’t appear to be the problem, but I will be switching out the battery. Hoping someone else has experienced this problem that could help me keep this out of the shop.

I’m the second owner and at 109,000 miles, so I don’t have anything under warranty. However, I’m still paying on this and would hate to lose my PHEV while gas is this pricey. Any help figuring this out would be a Godsend right now.
