Hi everyone. I've always read that both ISRIB and Cerebrolysin are effective for brain damages and nootropics with similar properties. I've wanted to dive deeper into the topic and to compare these two substances myself.

So I had no experience with Cerebrolysin at that time so can't tell how much it is effective as a remedy to compare with ISRIB. On the contrary, I compare biochemical profile and nootropic effects of both compounds. I did cycling of each compound for 20 days. I did 14 days of break between these cycles, using only supplements.

So ISRIB is a certain chemical molecule, which targets ISR mechanism and repairs brain by very concrete action. Its action improves neurogeneration and brain functions. Cerebrolysin is a drug based on peptides isolated from pig brain tissue. Its effect is more wide and not so concrete. It mimics the action of natural neurotrophic factors (NGF, BDNF), protects neurons, and stimulates the formation of new synapses.

ISRIB is felt more like deep cognitive enhancer. I take ISRIB and feel powerful wakening, strict concentration and new motivation. My mind is becoming more motivated and hard-working, this feeling becomes more evident through some days of the cycle.

Cerebrolysin is more slight I would say. To compare with ISRIB I feel concentration and memory improvement. I believe its effect really opening in those who have active serious problems after brain damage. So efficiency would be more evident.

Today took Isrib-a15. I had a stroke and was interested in this compound quite for long time. But I had a little money to buy it and was scary to try it in order to avoid side effects. Today I finally received it and took with quite good results. I became very unstable emotionally and had anxiety without any reason after stroke. Today substance did its thing, I became more calm and relaxed. Though I am not sleepy, I have more balanced thoughts and thinking process. Going to continue tomorrow.
