Hi I just bought my first 5 figures and it’s the bar buddies in moes tavern such as moe,Homer,Barney,Carl and Larry and I love them so much my only problem is I don’t know where and how to display them like I wish there was a play set but I need some ideas please help me

I Just wanted to chime in here to address and hopefully answer some of the comments/concerns that I have read through Reddit and Facebook.

First of all the line is gladly not dead. It might be slow at time and yes there might be gaps in production but I can assure you it’s not dead. We are only 1/2 through the year and we have already had a bunch of new items from JAKKS and I can only assume more to come!

“Why aren’t these in stores?” - Well they just aren’t. Obviously it’s not as simple as that answer but we all know that Wal-Mart and Target have stopped carrying just The Simpsons portion of the JAKKS line. I’ve heard all sorts of reasons why but nothing solid. You can still randomly find some of the older “Deluxe” sets in the collectibles section but those will be gone soon.

IamRetro - Why only them? I can only assume that since they have stuck it through since the beginning that they are still able to carry the JAKKS Simpsons line up. Yes from time to time you might see them at stores like Gamestop but for the most part they usually only get one of each unit for the store and they hardly ever re-order them.

“They cost so much…” We can all see the price has gone up for all of these figures, but this is a price that JAKKS themselves set for the actual figures and not the retailers. You can see for yourself online for example King Size Homer has a suggested retail price of $24.99 on the JAKKS site and yes that bites but this might be the new price point moving forward for these figures.

I am with you all, that yes I miss hunting these at Walmart / Target but unfortunately we might not see that again. My only hope is that when the movie comes out, we will see a flurry of new Simpsons toys from all sorts of different companies.

With all that being said, if you all have any questions, I’m more than happy to answer them as long as I have an answer for it. I always try my best to be as honest and transparent with all of the Simpsons news out there. I’m just glad that someone is actually making Simpson’s toys still and I can’t wait for the movie to drop and we will have 10000 new things to talk about!
