This situation came out just in the last hours but since it is gonna hit the sub sooner or later, it is better to post it asap to give a sense of what is going on. As soon as James Blunt will address these allegations (if he does) I will of course add it here.

Here's the situation as far as I understood it (feel free to correct me if something is missing/misinterpreted)

1. After the tragic death of the "Heroes" actress, an interview and a passage of her autobiography came up when she revealed she had been abused on a boat. In her bio she mentioned that the person who trafficked her to her abuser was a woman, a mentor-like figure, and said abuser was a "British singer"

2. Many people connected the dots and identified these two monsters as Diana Jenkins (entrepreneur) and James Blunt. The two have been photographed together with the actress around 2009 (you can easily google it) and Panettiere mentioned that the man was a "30 something guy". In James Blunt's bio there's a chapter named "Diana's Boat".

3. James Blunt's video for his last single (you can find it in this sub, right under this post) quickly aged poorly as it shows the singer kidnapping and eventually eating a guy in the company of a blonde woman.

Some things to consider:

A) It is said somewhere (but I can't find the passage) that Panettiere mentioned that the woman who trafficked her was "a fellow actress". This would exclude Jenkins and the name "Stella McAmes" has been floating in the air but I really can't find anything about this woman.

B) Panettiere only mentions "a british singer in his 30s"

C) Even if James Blunt decides to comment we can already assume he will release a statement of circumstance, where he denies the claim without much substance to it

I still have to figure out a personal opinion about it. As you can see surfing the sub and my comment history, James Blunt has been a hero of mine for a long time and coming to terms with this first thing in the morning has been quite a challenge.

Lastly, please please please either if you are on one side of the fence or the other, try and be respectful of each other and discuss this in a civil manner

The Blunt 🐐 is back with a decent enough track. Filmed somewhere around south of France (Les Calanques) and/or the Balearic Islands, the video is a direct parallel to the og "Wisemen" one. Track is also decent enough and it's a grower, prob better than most of his last album.
