Tried to play my childhood mobile game again and realized how bad it's designed

The fact that you are stuck halfway across the screen gives you very little time to react to the obstacles. Especially when it gets faster. Not sure why they designed it that way but other games with this format do not have this problem. If you were only 1/4 of the way across the screen the game would be infinitely better. I remember being pretty good at this game when I was young but now I can barely do anything and so I deleted it. So incredibly lame
