I wonder what Drake thought of Joeys battle, especially because it was lots of Kendrick minions, Joey beat them all, called out dot and it was silence. Bet he loved it tbh. Has he earnt a feature?

I don't think Joey's battle is being spoken about enough. Great songs and not too personal. I could see Joey and Ray doing a song in future. Joey could use a Drake stimulus too, Passports suitcases pt 2 or something.

Joey Music Hits different if you know Capital STEEZ

I think STEEZ has protected joey and kept him grounded all these years. Like a artistic armour. Even after the money and fame. STEEZ and joey were always special but after he passed joey been writing for 2 ever since. STEEZ gives joeys music an element of immortality and higher purpose that's bigger than rap. Bigger than the Grammys and billboard charts.

If you're a newer fan of joey I heavily recommend listening to the capital STEEZ mixtape Amerikkkan Korruption if you haven't yet. It'll help you appreciate joey music on a much deeper level and you'll pick up on all the Easter eggs joey hides in his music. Plus AK 47 genuinely a timeless cult classic on it's own anyways just like 1999 is.

From Hero to Villain

I think I finally understand the strategy behind Joey taking his time to start the album rollout. He is playing 3D chess.the fifth and final season of Power Book III: Raising Kanan officially premieres on STARZ on 12 June 2026. Fans are desperate to see what happens to Unique. this massive wave of weekly television attention creates the ultimate free marketing for him to ride the cultural wave and kick off his music rollout.

Dropping the album in July or late August makes perfect sense. late August is the absolute deadline if he wants to qualify for the 2027 Grammys window, which closes on Friday, 28 August 2026. Alternatively, he might capitalise on the hype and do a surprise drop while his name is trending at its peak.that is not all. Around the Raising Kanan finale, Netflix will likely start their rollout for 'Tis So Sweet, which serves as more free marketing. the contrast between these two roles is brilliant counter-programming that highlights Joey’s incredible acting range.

Audiences will watch him play a gritty, calculating former drug lord on STARZ, only to immediately see trailers of him playing a vulnerable, devoted Christian son running a neighborhood bakery on Netflix.Once Raising Kanan starts airing in June, we should expect Netflix to drop the first official teasers. If Joey executes this timeline perfectly, he will completely command the summer cultural conversation. 2026 is truly Joey's year. 💯🤞🏽

FEAR US (Music Video) is finally out!🔥

I won't lie the mixing kinda sucks, don't know why they had to change it instead of using the original audio..but oh well, dope song..it sounds like a lost track from AABA🇺🇸💯

Spotify

Safe to say I’m a fan. My most listened to song was Show Me which was kinda surprising how relatively new it is to the rest of his stuff, but makes sense. What was yours?

I am once again (after 5 months) asking where is this gaddamn album!?

Joey & Statik are longtime collaborators and they are both in the top tier of the game to me. I got so excited when this dropped thinking the album was coming in the next month or so. Then I looked at Statik's discography and realized he likes to take his sweet time not unlike Joey. But this is just egregious at this point, wdym a year + later and still crickets?

Was anybody else excited for more tracks with them together on this one. Were you excited for the album when this came out. Did you forget this existed?

Joey badass sneaking into top of hip hop with the acting

He's going to drop the album around when his movie drops and ride off the Netflix promotion. His big screen debut "tis so sweet" projected to get around 100 million views worldwide in the first month.. Don't know how much of that translate to music but only a handful of rappers get that kinda exposure.
