Had a nice chat with the GOAT himself

Had a nice chat with the GOAT himself

He flew from Dublin early in the morning, rocked manchester tonight and I am sure he was tired but he was kind enough to had a chat. He may be the nicest soul on this earth.

What is the best clip of his to show someone as a good first impression?

There have been a few people recommending him to me, but I’ve only seen a few random clips of his and thought he was just a content creator until I saw commercials for some of his stand up.

I think I haven’t seen enough of his material to get his bit, I do really like comedians who tell jokes that aren’t really supposed to be funny so I can get behind that part, but I think the small selection of his I’ve been exposed to have probably left out some context as to why the joke is funny in terms of the set.

I’ve tried watching some of the popular clips but I really think I’m just missing something crucial here, on paper I should be laughing, any solid starter recs to help out?

Can someone explain the Comedy band Camp concept?

Hi! My friend took me to the Dublin show, so I hadn’t seen anything of Josh‘s before. Did I miss how Josh‘s set ties in with the camp concept? There were the teams and stuff, the music director and dancers - that all made sense. But afterwards
? Sorry if it’s an obvious thing to fans, but it really stuck with me so I’m curious. Thank you!!

Constantino, and his dick tra.. I mean diss track

(This isn't really NSFW but I use the F word a lot and I don't know what counts as NSFW)

Sorry in advance if this has been mentioned before, but I just watched this and I don't check Reddit that often and I had thoughts I needed to get out.

Anyway. This has got to be the most absurdist thing I've seen in a long time.

Imagine being not only stupid as fuck (and a racist asshole, basically the same thing) - yet somehow assuming it's okay to channel Tupac's "hit 'em up" as some kind of diss track towards Maga opponents? And the t-shirt; "Antifada" is not a thing, you fucking moron.

The cognitive dissonance here is unreal.

When Constantino went "Hey Andew Cuomo, fuck you too!" I could feel Tupac turning over in his grave going "Constantino; fuck you too." Like, who the fuck is this guy? (Btw - I don't like Andrew Cuomo or Eric Adams either for various reasons, but that's not the point, mostly just the blatant Tupac plagiarism in addition to just how fucking stupid Trump supporters are). Like dude, you're a racist piece of shit, so why the fuck are you using (defiling) Tupac in this way? Shouldn't he be using like, Kid Rock or something (I genuinely cannot think of any other artist who likes Trump)

Edit: I don't want to assume everyone hasn't heard hit 'em up; but it's obviously quite old now, so just to clarify: I'm referring to the ending of that song - like 4 minutes in. He basically sampled it and copied it completely (and really fucking poorly). Why would a racist person sample one of the best black rappers in history? Did he just lack that much creativity, and that was the only diss track he could find and hoped people wouldn't remember/recognise it? All of this is just weird. I just know Tupac would hate this guy if he were alive today and it's offensive as fuck to use his music for something that's completely opposite of what he stood for when he was alive.

Ps. On another note; did anyone else see Josh Johnson's Symphony? It was quite different to his Daily Show brand of comedy but I liked it a lot, I thought it was beautiful and unique in so many ways. I LOVE having him as part of the group of hosts (Just need Troy as well, add an extra day and the show would be perfection).

Outro Music on Videos?

Can anyone identify the song that's used at the end of his sets?

It sounds like they say "I'm nothing" three times, and then "mira" and then "I'm nothing" one more time, but I have to assume that I'm just hearing the "I'm nothing" incorrectly and it is not English

I know "mira" is a Spanish word as I have a Hispanic home health aid, so I feel like trying to search those words are going to get me absolutely nowhere. 😅

Various performance and promotional posters

Saw that Josh removed a lot of his older posters from the website, and I thought I'd help the community by taking some Instagram posts and removing the arrows.

P.S. These are not made by me in any way, and I am not meaning to take credit for any creator's work. Also, these posters have gone through mild editing to remove the left and right arrows that are on Instagram.

Heres some more I found
