OpenSourcing TrueForge Agent harness : Expect feedback from community on the agent loop

Hey folks 👋

We just open sourced TrueForge, our vendor-neutral agent harness for building general-purpose agents.

It handles the runtime pieces that get painful quickly : context management, tool/MCP execution, subagents, sandboxing, approvals, persistent state, and more.

We also benchmarked the harness itself. With the same Opus 4.8 model, TrueForge delivered a similar solve rate at ~30% lower cost than Claude Managed Agents. Switching to an open model pushed that to ~75% lower cost on the same benchmark.

Would love feedback from people building agents.

Jules is running slow, as of 19 Aug 2026?

Hello, first time posting here.

I don't know what happened recently and last time I used Jules was in May, on my Python side project. The experience was good that time.

Yesterday I asked Jules to clean up empty lines and re-arrange variables and functions in my C# - Unity project , a small game with around 10~ C# scripts.

I noticed it made mistakes from time to time:

  • Add random empty lines
  • Remove variable declaration
  • Put variables into comment blocks.

Once I noticed those, I ask Jules to update those and point out what happened. The system seem to run on for a long while, and reply/update around 5-6 hours later.

Is that just me, or I should not ask Jules to work/collaborate on C#-Unity project, or something is wrong with the performance, at the moment?

Jules is dead?

5 months of no updates. Team went dark a few weeks ago.

No pro model release. Gemini spark released to pro users.

I think they killed Jules?
