this will be my (33F) third year at JLH. i go by myself because i love the music and general vibes of this festival, and my husband isn't a big festival guy. ive made friends on the spot in previous years but would love to give it a go and make a plan with people before if possible!

i'm clubhouse so down to meet folks there but just as fine meeting GA/VIP people (and tbh happy to get you some of the free food/drinks from clubhouse lol). i am small and good at getting to the rail, i was at the rail for vampire weekend last year and know the rail for strokes will go HARD

If we’re being a bit strategic here (as a massive Strokes fan) I’ve heard several times on Reddit that return JLH festival goers who’ve been there in recent years state that it’s actually a bit easier to see the band THERE than an actual Strokes show especially when it comes to getting close to the rail. If you’ve missed some of those threads and you’re reading this and also have experience at this festival, is it a little accurate/any truth to it? Strokes shows this year have been pretty massive and pricey on top of it, this festival sounds like it may be worth traveling to even if the primary goal of ours were to only see 1-2 bands! It seems a bit more laid back and accessible which would be extremely welcome! Any thoughts are appreciated!

I upgraded my ticket to clubhouse but it still doesn’t show on my AXS app? It still shows my general admission tickets. Does anyone know when it will update? I upgraded a few days ago.

To drive in from Phoenix for The Strokes or to not, that is our question & dilemma. We love the idea of awaiting a proper LA headlining date but let’s be real about our boys, after this run of shows you just NEVER know…

$250 is steep for a festival date for one band (we do enjoy LCD though also) however, realistically, like I mentioned above, waiting for a Strokes proper LA date might not ever come again haha

Help us weigh this one out!

Driving in from Phoenix early Saturday morning looking to arrive by 11, if we’re GA and want to make it a priority to catch a good spot up front for The Strokes (my wife is 5’0 lol) for those who have been to this festival, what’s the likelihood of that happening if we didn’t get there until noon-ish with I’m assuming will already be a giant line outside haha

I have 2 GA tickets for just like heaven and I really want to sell them on AXS (where I purchased them), but it’s not letting me? Is anyone else having this problem? I bought them a long time ago for me and my now ex bf, and I honestly could just use the money back. It shows a button to sell tickets, but it’s not letting me click it? Does anyone have any info on this?

Heyo, I know there are a few threads on the difference between VIP and Clubhouse that I have already read through, but I am particularly curious about the two viewing areas at Orion Stage. The VIP viewing area look much bigger than Clubhouse. Is it totally packed in Clubhouse? Would sincerely appreciate anyone's run down of the two viewing areas by comparison.
