deals advisory prep

Hi, I’m interested in KPMG’s deals vertical and have the opportunity to apply through campus. I’m a fresher(undergrad) and was wondering if someone well versed could explain the various departments/areas like M&A, Valuations etc., and how I should prepare for or expect from an interview.

I’m particularly interested in valuations, but don’t have experience and am unsure if it’s the right choice. Any guidance would be great, thank you.

Are there any genuine consultancies or recruiters that can help get interviews at KPMG or other Big 4 firms in India?

I've been applying through company career portals and LinkedIn, but I'm finding it difficult to get interview calls from KPMG and the other Big 4 firms.

Are there any legitimate recruitment consultancies or staffing agencies in India that recruit for KPMG, Deloitte, EY, or PwC? I'm not looking for anyone who guarantees a job or asks for money, just genuine recruiters who can help candidates get their profiles noticed or arrange interviews for suitable openings.

I got selected through on campus hiring for KGS Consulting Bengaluru as an Analyst at Data & AI Service Line last year. I am worried that my offer will be revoked.

I am yet to receive joining date and offer letter from HR. They have not even asked for personal documents for background verification. Not even a tentative joining date has been mentioned.

I am worried that my offer is about to get revoked. And since most hiring cycles are over by now there is very low chances of getting another job offer now.

Has kpmg sent joining date and offer letters for other new hires who are to join this year? I am very worried.

How frequently does kgs revoke offers for freshers?

Will KPMG consider a counter offer?

Hi Guys,

Has anyone here ever presented a counter offer to KPMG?

I have 7 years of experience working at Deloitte, earning 22 fixed. KPMG offered 32 fixed. I also got an offer from Accenture for 35 fixed.

Will they consider a counter offer? I am leaning toward KPMG because of the Big 4 tag and the consulting experience I gained at Deloitte. I was at Accenture earlier, but I didn't like the work style.

Is the finance job market so bad for CA freshers

Is the finance job market so bad for CA freshers that people are just getting calls for interview but not getting selected?? Like is it just formality based??
