Would ya like to help Her

Would ya like to help Her
disclaimer: this is a fictional story inspired by the online animator Katie/A3DGhost and her original creations. i wis I could’ve saved Katie on time :(
Katie, a 17-year-old indie animator known online as A3DGhost, sat alone in her bedroom, illuminated only by the glow of her computer monitor. Her desk was covered with sketchbooks, animation notes, and unfinished character designs for her animated series, Fundamental Paper Education.
She had dreamed of sharing stories that made people laugh, cry, and imagine.
But lately...
Every time she opened social media, she saw something new.
People had made low-quality content farms using her characters, twisting them into bizarre videos aimed at children. Others posted hateful comments, spread rumors, or tried to invade her privacy. Worst of all, strangers were creating explicit artwork of characters she'd designed simply to tell a story.
Katie stared silently at the screen.
"...Why?"
More notifications.
More arguments.
More people treating her work like it wasn't hers anymore.
With tears beginning to form, she slammed her laptop shut.
CLACK!
"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!"
She buried her face in a pillow and screamed until she ran out of breath.
A few moments later...
Knock. Knock.
"Katie?" came a calm voice.
She wiped her eyes.
"...Come in."
The door opened.
Standing there was her father, Baphomet, an anthropomorphic goat with tired eyes and was drinking tea.
"There was a thin package addressed to you."
Katie sighed.
"...Thanks."
Downstairs, she picked up the small envelope.
No return address.
Inside...
A single drawing.
It showed a cheerful stick figure with a perfectly round body, oversized shoes, white gloves, and a gigantic letter A on its chest.
Katie blinked.
"...Seriously?"
No letter.
No explanation.
"No wonder there wasn't any postage..."
She shrugged and tossed the drawing onto her cluttered desk before climbing into bed.
That night...
Moonlight poured through the bedroom window.
The paper rustled.
The drawing slowly peeled itself off the desk.
Its flat outline puffed outward like an inflating balloon.
Two-dimensional became three-dimensional.
Little shoes touched the wooden floor.
Stretch...
Yawn...
The strange figure looked around.
"There she is."
He gently tapped Katie's shoulder.
"... Hey Katie!"
No response.
He tapped again.
"Katie wake up!"
Her eyes opened.
For exactly one second.
Then—
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!"
She launched out of bed.
Without thinking, she grabbed the nearest object—
A novelty danger road sign one of her friends had given her as a joke.
"STAY BACK!!"
WHACK!!
The sign bent around the stranger like rubber.
He didn't even flinch.
Instead...
"...Ow?"
"...Actually that didn't hurt."
Katie stared.
"...What ARE you?!"
The cheerful figure dusted himself off.
"Oh!"
He smiled.
"I'm Andy EggBert DoodleToon."
He proudly pointed to the giant A on his chest.
"But everybody just calls me Andy DoodleToon."
Katie blinked.
"...You're..."
"The drawing."
He nodded enthusiastically.
"Yep!"
"You...came to life?"
"Mhm!"
Katie looked back toward the desk.
The paper was gone.
She looked back at him.
"...This...is impossible."
Andy grinned.
"Not where I come from."
"And where exactly is that?"
Andy folded his arms dramatically.
"The Katieverse."
Katie froze.
"...What?"
"The Katieverse."
"...How do you know that name?"
Andy tilted his head.
"Because that's where I'm from."
Silence.
Katie slowly backed into her chair.
"...No..."
"Yep."
"No."
"Yep."
"That isn't real."
"It is where I live."
"But..."
"My world exists because you imagined it."
Katie simply stared.
"...You're saying..."
"I'm one of your creations."
For several minutes...
Neither of them spoke.
Finally Katie whispered,
"...Why are you here?"
Andy became unusually serious.
"The future."
Katie frowned.
"What about it?"
"If I hadn't arrived..."
He looked toward her closed laptop.
"...You would've let the harassment convince you to stop creating."
Katie looked away.
"..."
"You would've deleted projects."
"..."
"You would've stopped drawing."
"..."
"You would've abandoned animation."
Katie's hands trembled.
"..."
"And eventually..."
"You would've believed that everyone hated what you made."
Silence filled the room.
Katie whispered,
"...Part of me already thinks that."
Andy walked over and sat beside her.
"I know."
"But here's something the internet doesn't always tell you."
He smiled gently.
"The loudest voices aren't always the biggest."
Katie looked up.
"There are people who genuinely enjoy your stories."
"They're just quieter."
Over the following weeks...
Andy stayed.
Not by fighting people online.
Not by arguing in comment sections.
Instead...
He reminded Katie to take breaks.
He encouraged her to block abusive accounts instead of reading every message.
He helped organize her artwork.
Whenever she finished an animation, Andy would clap louder than anyone.
When hateful comments appeared...
Andy simply pointed at the screen.
"Block."
Click.
Gone.
When content farms copied her ideas...
"They can't take your imagination."
When fake rumors spread...
"The people who matter will judge you by your actual work."
When Katie doubted herself...
Andy handed her a fresh sketchbook.
"Make something new."
Months later...
Katie uploaded another animation.
Not because everyone suddenly became kind.
The internet still had people who copied, mocked, or misunderstood her work.
But now...
Those voices no longer defined why she created.
She animated because she loved telling stories.
One evening she smiled as another idea filled an empty page.
Andy peeked over her shoulder.
"Ooo!"
"New character?"
Katie laughed.
"Maybe."
Andy grinned.
"See?"
"What?"
"The Katieverse keeps growing."
Katie looked around the room.
"...Thanks."
"For what?"
"For reminding me that one bad part of the internet isn't bigger than imagination."
Andy tipped an imaginary hat.
"That's what saviors of the Katieverse do."
Outside, the moon shined through the window.
Inside...
Pencils scratched across paper once more.
And somewhere among those lines...
A whole universe of stories waited to come to life.

Miss Sasha in the hallway, confused as hell. She was trying to figure out where she was and who was around her.
”All I wanted was a damn nap, why the hell am I here out of all places!?”
Øliver was standing infront of the bushes outside in the forest, trying to act like he didn’t do anything wrong. But then, [Your Character] saw a dent in a tree, and the hint of graphite told [Your Character] everything. He got a bit angry again. He tried to slip away when [Your Character] was confused, so he made a sharp turn away with his long hair swinging slightly.
”[Insert title message here]. But I’ll also just... Head out!”

D!Zip and D!Oliver are doing everything in their powers to make the teachers' lives more inconvenient. EVERYTHING.

Danger Emily; a sweet, kind hearted and loving nurse. She always loved taking care of her students, even the staff members who drive her mad! She always tries her hardest to make everyone happy, but soon she had enough. Ever since she watched student’s get killed, ruined, shamed… All of her anger has bubbled up to where it over-flows her mind. All the sanity has wilted into pure rage and insanity.
Currently, she’s in her office. Studying bottles of medication, and acting normal. If not the growls that we’re building in her throat.
“Hm… Put this here… Put that there…” She’s busy at the moment, just doing the things she loves. Until you opened the door, and we’re greeted by… Her. “Oh. Hello.”
Well, a new notification lit up on your phone. And it was in the school groupchat… Great…
Immediently, you we’re flashed with an image of Zip pointing to a water fountian. WHICH THE WATER WAS SOME HOW ON FIRE.
(The image here is a joke, yall can use it. Just credit me. XD)
..Someone walks through the Halls. They're hard to make out..
No joke. She's straight up Stalking a Rat. Ready to pounce.
Oliver walked up to [[Your Character]], and held out a glass of water. It wasn’t spiked or anything, he was just… Offering you a glass. Will you accept his rare offer, or turn him down?
(Yes, the art is by me! Plus there is custom faces in reaction depending on your answer!)
You saw Oliver walking outside, just minding his own buisness and not caring as usual. He seemed to be just… There. Bored and curious. Until he saw you, and huffed. He tried to go the other direction, not wanting any contact from anyone.
”I need to find something better to do. This is getting boring.”
Miss Artifices: and so then i said whats Wendigo in latin and they got it right

Mister Malum: thats good to hear

Mister Ericus: i can't wait to pull pranks on my students

Cl∆ire: i wonder what everyone else is up to?
"My powers aren't working how they should be. That's... odd."
Mister Zx was walking down the hallway, sniffing around and trying to get used to the new area. He was half way looking to meet new beings or just find Miss Emily all together.
After a few minutes, he went into the main lobby and sat down with a sigh. His massive arm and hand holding his knee for self comfort. Until he saw [Your Character], and he got up again and went up to them.
He didn’t speak, but looked down at [Your Character], trying to see what [Your Character] was.
