If anyone thought the reprint was going to save Kinato...

For those who don't know, it's already the 3rd in Japan, the release day for the big Jump volumes and the scheduled date for the Kinato reprints to hit stores.

For those who still held out hope for a possible miracle: I’m here to show that, even after searching online, I didn't see a single volume on the shelves—plus, none of the major retailers even mentioned the title.

AH is getting similar treatment; even though it's being cancelled, the cancelled titles from the previous batch at least appeared alongside the other volumes.

Even Shonen Jump itself didn't bother to post a tweet commemorating it.

What would be the least rushed ending for you?

Kina-bros, sisters, and relatives, I think the time is near for us to say our goodbyes 😭

For weeks, I've been ignoring the doomposting about Kinato's Magic getting axed due to its constant low rankings but I'm mentally preparing myself for the worst outcome. I also don't think the reprint of volume 1 will sell enough to keep it afloat. It's not my first time going through an abruptly cut series but some rushed endings are handled better than others.

What would be the ideal or least rushed ending for you if Kinato's Magic does not make it past chapter 30? Would you want the big bad to make an appearance or a rematch with Noise? For me, I wouldn't mind an ending similar to The Mage Next Door where there's a battle with a strong villain but it's still open ended enough that new adventures could happen. A rematch with Noise can let us see Kinato's growth as a character, although miniscule. I wouldn't want a flash forward to Kinato being one of the highest ranked guild members but maybe ending it with him going up at least a rank, thus signaling the start of his journey (that we'll never see, lol). Maybe an all-team battle with the Iron fangs so we can see them one last time?

At least there are fewer loose threads to tie up since there hasn't been much of an overarching plot thus far.

Do you think Zeo will appear in the last few chapters of this arc?

Also Zeo expected too much from Kinato, they only met less than a week. He was already asking him for souvenirs lmao.

Next arc possibilities?

I wonder how the end of this arc will bridge into the next arc. Could the forbidden medicine that Sazaku and co. stole which gives absolute power at the cost of destroying their bodies be something that the main villain group tries to attain and use? Could they have had a role in convincing Sazaku to steal it and attain the forbidden power and overthrow the current Majo?

Feel like there's a lot of possibilites with how this arc could bridge into the greater story after the introduction of the villain group in the previous arc. Could ultimately mean that Kinato's healing power will be pivotal in the grand scheme of things if things expand with the forbidden medicine beyond the Sazaku faction of the Majo. What do y'all think?
