About the thriller disclaimer

I had heard about this story before but didn’t knew it came from Jermaine’s book

Am I the only one who still can't believe the enormous physical transformation MJ went through? When I see his latest photos, it just feels unreal. Like I'm a doll, it's incredible, my brain still can't process it, tell me I'm not the only one.

The MJ Estate has been terrible

Ever since MJ died the estate has been horrible about the handling of MJs music releases. The best things they did was Bad25 snd Xscape( it was the originals and the reworkings and documentary attached). But aside from that theyve done nothing worthwhile. Meanwhile The Purple One's fanbase is in music heaven over there with special deluxe releases and access to vaulted material and shows. Thriller 40 had so much potential but look what we got instead. It shouldve been a whole 3 disc one bluray set. Disc 1 the Thriller special edition remastered. Disc 2 songs from the recording sessions that didnt make the album and demo tracks. Disc 3 the audio from the Victory Tour in high fidelity. BluRay that has Thriller its making of documentary in 2k along with all its videos in HD and 2k restoration of the Victory Tour in 7.1 Dolby Atmos for the first time ever.

What current artists do you think Michael would’ve enjoyed if he was still alive?

My personal answers for artists and for some I may add reasons as to why:

-Victoria Monet
-H.E.R.
-Ariana Grande
-RAYE
-Beyonce (that’s a given already tho bc Michael LOVED her)
-Tori Kelly
-Demi Lovato (I really think he’d love more of her from the 2010s-now pop era)
-Adele
-Alessia Cara
-Kendrick Lamar
-SZA
-Janelle Monae
-Billie Eilish
-The Internet
-Olivia Rodrigo (idk but for some reason he might like her and see her potential)
-Ella Mai
-Doechii
-Renee Rapp
-Jorja Smith

What current (talking 2010s-present) songs do you think Michael would’ve liked if he were still here?

My personal answers and again for a couple of em I might add reasons as to why I think this

-Freedom by Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar (very socially conscious and woke song and it’s a theme Michael touched on in some of his own songs)

-Pray for me by The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar

-Electric Lady by Janelle Monae

-Q.U.E.E.N. by Janelle Monae (Michael would relate to some of the words bc some people have called him weird and things like that)

-Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars

-Funny by Tori Kelly (again, lyrics MJ may relate to bc the lyrics touch on the pressures of fame)

-Praying by Kesha (definitely needed for people who screwed him over)

-My Song by H.E.R.

-Tell Me You Love Me by Demi Lovato

how did you discover invincible the first time?

it was after school when i usually tuned in to music channel. you rock my world short film aired and my life has never been the same since. found out that it was a track from his new album titled invincible and ive been waiting for its release. begged my parents to get me one as soon as it came out. it has been my cherished possession and will remain so for as long as i live haha.

i remember being so in awe by the beats and the emotions it evokes in me. i was already a huge fan of freestyle breakdancing and rnb and this album was the embodiment of it. it really feels like the grown, new mike is back with a punch. i had similar feeling when i listened to history album for the first time but invincible feels more explorative and experimental and i fall in love with the album just like that. honestly it makes me smile talking about this masterpiece - i truly cant help it!

what about you? do you remember your first time discovering invincible? how did it happen? please share it with me<3

Dedicated to my favorite Applehead

In these recent weeks I’ve become lowkey obsessed with Michael Jackson.

I watched the biopic twice in theaters and multiple times when i bought it on streaming and when I got the physical copy.

I’ve listened to a lot of his songs, my current favorites are:

“Earth Song” “Heal the World” (I love listening to these two back to back)

“Leave Me Alone” (this song helped me during an anxiety episode)

“Smooth Criminal” “Billie Jean” “Workin’ Day and Night” “You Are Not Alone” “Off the Wall” etc.

I have also been practicing the choreography from “Thriller” I plan on doing a zombie drag performance this Halloween

I’ve gone on a deep dive in Michael Jackson’s history, I’ve seen multiple video compilations showcasing his best moments with fans, interviews, rehearsals, tours, MJ with his kids etc.

I wish I got the chance to meet him in person, I was just a kid when he passed away in 2009 and at the time I didn’t know who he was. Now 17 years later I’m a big fan of him.

“Hee-hee” “I love to tour 🤌” “applehead” have become some of my vocal stims.

Michael was such a good father to his children and I respect the hell out of him for protecting his children’s identities when they went out in public.

It broke my heart when I saw Paris cry at her dad’s funeral.

I even cried when I watched the film “Searching for Neverland” with Navi playing the role of MJ.

Despite what his haters may say, I don’t believe he did the things he was accused of. It wasn’t in his heart to do those despicable acts.

Side note: screw everyone that ever harassed/been rude to Michael, the names that come to mind are Oprah, Martin Bashir and Tupac.

I included my favorite photos of Michael as well as the albums and dvd i currently own. I’m thinking of getting the “Dangerous” album at some point.

Anyway thank you for reading this and I hope the MJ’s legacy continues to inspire people.
