Santouku/Bunka SG2/R2 Recommendations good food release

I currently have a set or tojiro DP knives (Santoku, Nakiri, gyuto), Wusthof ikon 8 inch, and some victorinox pairing knives. I find myself primarily using the Santoku. Overall I really like the knife, but things stick it a lot when slicing (cucumber, carrots, potatoes, onion). I mostly cut up fruit, veggies and boneless meats. I'm looking for suggestions for knives that release food better and are stainless, and shaped like a Santoku or bunka. After reading about steel types, I'm interested in an sg2 after using vg10 in the past. I'm not a fan of sharpening but do it as required.

My budget is preferably around $300 but is flexible.

I've been looking at the following. But very open to suggestions.
