Ive installed Kodi, Coco scrapers and have a real debrid account. I set up Umbrella. I'm doing this all from my phone. I go to activate my debrid account and it gives me the code to type in. I go type it in but the screen back on umbrella never goes away. I exit the app and reboot it and it still isn't activated. Am I missing something?
So I should release this new addon/server, in it's beta state, so that I can get an idea of it's usefulness.
The release consists of a new video addon called liberator, which is coded to use a standalone server called orac. Orac will maintain your tvshow/movie data in separate DBs and service requests from liberator for that data. You run one orac server with one or more liberators (if you have multiple devices) so that they all get the same data, all of the time.
I can't get github pages to work yet, so to install the liberator repo you can access Karhugit/liberator-repo: A repo for the kodi video addon liberator, and go into zips -> repository.liberator and download the repo zip from there.
To install the orac server, the page is Karhugit/Orac-Server-Distrib. From here you can download the code as a zip, and then extract it on your system to a new folder. The readme has instructions for installing to windows or linux machines, and how to start it. Then authorise your accounts via LIberator as normal, check the web browser page for orac status.
So why use a server? The advantages are
- Localised database fully synced with trakt, simkl, tmdb and mdblist.
- All liberator addons get the same data
- Lightweight Kodi addon with no caching
- Solves issues such as
- Trakt not syncing, as orac's DB is the source of truth, queue synced with other services
- Scraping issues. Orac uses intelligent scraping, scoring scrapers and using a ranking system
- Discover functions. Liberator has a full discover function called external index, allows you to create and edit indexes. For example if you want Filipino movies, you can create an index with the origin country as the Phillipines and get those.
- Provides a web browser interface to show you the log, scrapers, platforms and lists
- The local DB is populated with data from both TMDB and trakt
- The external indexer allows you to create your own selections. For example if you want tvshow premieres for the last month you create an external index, first date date > t-31, first air date < t-1, any other filters you like. This will then provide tvshow premieres.
- Support for trakt/tmdb generic lists, also support for flixpatrol top 10 lists.
- Movie recommendations based on watched history
- Trakt rate limiting support, caters for 250 per api call limit (from June), also monitors watched history and deletes oldest 50 when your count gets above 90,000
- Free format tagging for any show or movie, allows you to create lists by just tagging a show or movie
- Internal indexing. You can create and edit indexes of the database items, stored on orac so available for all instances of liberator. For example I added 'latest releases' and 'latest 4k releases' to my library (trakt lists). Then I create an internal index that uses these two lists, excludes horror which I don't watch, to create a new dynamic widget. You can do this with lists, tags, or neither.
- Running a server on a separate machine stops kodi from doing the heavy lifting.
There is a lot to explain, but if anyone has the time to give it a try I'm happy to explain and make updates for use cases.
Caveat - If you authorise trakt, simkl and mdblist via liberator then they will all be synced together, so the watch lists for each will be the same. They will be all maintained in the same way, you watch an item and all of them will be updated.

I’m fairly new to Kodi streaming since last year.
Few days ago started getting “no streams available” when trying to search and view a tv show/film.
I have revoked both accounts, uninstalled and reinstalled both Umbrella and Fenlight.
I have an external scraper called cocoscraper set up.
Not sure what else to do?

I’m mainly looking for feedback on: PVR sync, Sports PVR switching, EPG loading, TMDB and Trakt integration, Multiple Profiles behaviour, and general bugs on different devices.
So I'll start by saying, I'm new to ALL of this in general, and I still can't successfully get ANYTHING to work!
I went to Troy point dot com and looked up the newest guides and followed them step by step and nothing seems to work!
Like for instance he had a April 2026 guide for diggs xenon as like the most popular thingamadoodle so I shelled out 60 bucks for a Tanix TX-5, waited 3 weeks for it to ship, then followed the guide step by step and on every single one of these guides even though they're less than a month old each time I run into a little snag in one way or another.
In that particular build I just mentioned, the guide says, oh yeah just click on this, then go to downloader and enter in this URL and click download! And then the URL doesn't work.
Or I tried a different build and this time the URL worked but when I went to "the add program" part to download and install the specific repository out of this long list of repositories that showed up, the one The guide wants me to download DOESN'T WORK, so I click on another one that looks similar and I don't know if it's that one extra step but nothing works.
I mean I've managed to get a build or two installed so whenever I fire up Kodi that'll have this cheesy looking interface that looks like it was put together by an edgy 13-year-old with an edgy screen name like "666mafia" to go along with it. Once it's booted up I click on movies and I'll see along list of movies, I click on one and it'll maybe play the trailer or something but as soon as I click watch movie nothing happens. Every single time I get some sort of error.
Then I saw something about using a debrid service or something so I signed up for torbox And almost paid for it but decided at the last second I'll just use the free version just in case the whole operation goes tits up, (which spoiler alert, it did) and whenever I go to type in my unique API code It just flat out rejects it!
So I mean at this point I'm just looking for someone to just point me in the direction of a legitimate guide that works 100% so that I know that I didn't just waste 8 plus hours of my life, and 60 some odd dollars to go along with it!
Because as much information is there is out here about all this shit they're surprisingly very few guides that I can find explicitly telling me how to set all this shit up!
Now I can see why these assholes are charging two or $300 for a so-called, "SUPER BOX"! Because trying to set all this shit up on your own is an absolute nightmare and I'm at my wit's end having trial and error'd shit over, and over, and over, and over...
I mean jailbreaking a fire stick and putting some streaming services on those was a cakewalk that I could do with my eyes closed and both thumbs up my own ass a few years ago so I don't know if the game has just changed thaaaat much, or if I just have the worst luck on planet Earth in finding guides and tutorials on setting this shit up that doesn't have expired links or out of date information!

I like to think of myself as computer savvy as I have hacked into Windows 10 computers or hell, I've even built computers, but for some reason getting a working build so my wife can watch whatever obscure weird shit she wants to watch that isn't available on Netflix or whatever is just impossible!!

I’m new to Kodi and I downloaded Umbrella and downloaded magneto & it keeps saying permission denied. What am I doing wrong??? I also tried to download coco and a pop up kept showing up and was not working.
