Virtual Office Address for LLC in California

Hi all, I have used my Registered Agent's address (Northwest Registered Agent) as the business address for filing my LLC in California & EIN number on IRS website. Only the mailing address for my EIN number application is my home address.

I live in California & want to open a business checking account (preferably Capital One) & Amazon seller account.

Northwest Registered Agent also provide virtual office address & lease where they give a unique suite number. Can it be used for Amazon verification & bank account? Amazon requires a lease & in some cases, a utility bill too. Has anyone had success with them? Or if there are other suggestions for affordable virtual office providers, that can be used for the Amazon verification too, that would be great.

Physical address where can I get it need suggestions

I’m forming a Wyoming LLC as a non-U.S. resident and had a question regarding business addresses.

I understand that the registered agent address used for Wyoming LLC filing is usually not accepted by Stripe, Merchant of Record services, payment processors, or even some banks when they request proof of a real physical business address.

In such cases, where can I get a legitimate physical office/business address in Wyoming on a monthly or yearly payment basis that can be used for verification and compliance purposes?

I would really appreciate your suggestions and guidance. Thank you.

Need to get CA LLC back in good standing with FTB after 10 years of inactivity

My spouse and I registered an LLC with the state of CA in 2016 through Legalzoom but then never did anything with it. We never made any money or performed any business operations. We also never filed any taxes or other compliance documents. It has literally just sat for the past decade.

We're in a position now where we want to actively use it. We've gotten back into good standing with the SOS but are not in good standing with the FTB. We can't even register for an account with the FTB portal because it wants to verify business info with tax return information from the past 5 years which we obviously don't have. Are we going to owe $800 for every year since incorporation? Is there a way to waive fees? This is all very alien to me. We started this LLC back when we were in our early twenties and had no clue what we were doing.

I'm looking to get this resolved as soon as possible. I'd appreciate any guidance you all can offer!

how long can it take to fax the EIN number as a non-resident?

I'd like to know how long it might take to get my EIN number if I apply by fax.

I'm an entrepreneur outside the U.S. and I've formed my LLC. Now I want to get my EIN number, and I've watched several YouTube videos—some say that if you apply by fax, it could take between 4 and 6 days, but those videos are from 2 or 3 years ago. However, I’ve seen a video from this year (2026) that says it can take up to 2 months and explains the trick of calling by phone after 5 days to request the EIN directly.

I've been trying to figure out how to call the IRS directly, but I can't find a way to do it. I'm thinking of filing the SS-4 by fax, but I'm worried about the time it will take—I don't want to wait a month or two—so I'm considering ordering it through Northwest, but it costs $200.

That's why I'd like to know how long it took you to receive your EIN by fax, approximately?

Wyoming LLC as holding company/manager for a Texas LLC

I’m trying to fix a privacy issue with my current Texas LLC. My name got scraped onto Bizapedia through the annual Public Information Report (PIR) even though I used a registered agent.

Can any one suggest if can work?

  • Dissolve the Texas LLC
  • Form a new Wyoming LLC (holding company)
  • Form a new Texas LLC (operating company) and list the Wyoming LLC as its manager
  • Use professional registered agents in both states

Has any actually done this:
Does listing the Wyoming LLC as manager on the Texas PIR keep your personal name completely off the public filings and aggregator sites like Bizapedia?
Even with the Wyoming layer and registered agent, does anything still leak through the Texas PIR or annual reports?

Has anyone’s personal name stayed private long-term with this exact Wyoming-holding + Texas-operating structure?

How does Wyoming compare to Nevada (or even staying fully in Texas) for this kind of privacy setup? Any real-world differences in leaks or aggregator exposure?

Would really appreciate actual experiences. What worked, what didn’t.
