I am a returning player haven't played since the dlc pretty much it looks like most people play private lobbies in the dlc or no lobby at all.

I am trying to get the permadeath trophy for defeating the skeleton king, however this goblin paladin should be a trophy in itself. Any tips from knowledgeable people on a build that works well, or do I hope I get really strong lightning resistance armour?. I really don't want to start a 5th permadeath character to be stonewalled by this boss again.
