Forgive the promo, my channel is new so I'm doing the rounds manually. Hope some of you might want to check this out!

In this brand new interview, I talk with Mortal Kombat legend Dan Forden about working on one of the world's greatest gaming legacies with a dedicated focus on his experience as a musician - his influences and development, his philosophy about composition, tonality, collaboration and impact, as well as his work outside of MK including his excellent EP Warning Signs (linked from the Youtube description) and playing bass for Cheer-Accident, including on the 1996 classic Not A Food (check that one out King Crimson fans!)

For any musicians watching, really, this one is for you. Dan appears in the excellent Mortal Kombat Legacy documentary videos from last year but there's not as much detail on how the music was made (both in terms of arrangement and hardware) as I found myself craving, so I decided to reach out so I could ask him myself. He is my favourite composer of all time, and a very inviting and gracious guest with, as you'll find out, GREAT taste in music, including Haken, Gentle Giant, Korn, Lettuce, Meshuggah and more.

Dan goes into minute detail about his music for this extended conversation, and it was an absolute honour to spend the afternoon with him. He's the coolest guy going and we're already talking ideas for a followup, so get SUBSCRIBED my friends! It'd be a stone cold gas to have you - Paul
