Hi, everyone. We got our mattress delivered recently (hurrah) but my husband is struggling with the break in period. I know the 30 day break in period, but do any of you have tips on how to break it in faster? A person at mattress firm said to crawl on it lol, which makes sense?? Anyway, anyone have tips?

A little context, I’m a 320 pound former stomach sleeper training myself to be a back sleeper. I recently started shopping for a mattress again and I ended up testing (and loving) the Purple Rejuvenate. It is however completely out of my budget. I specifically loved that firm yet cradled feel the mattress had and I want something similar to that.
The Restore Plus or Premier seem like the winners and apparently you can get them made with a firmer feel, so I’m really trying to choose between these two. Unfortunately while I can order the firm i can’t l test them out in store so I only know what the soft and medium versions feel like. Should I even be looking at Purple at this weight??
Just got this on clearance temp used from Mattress Firm…40% off original.
I know from a lot of ppl this might not be the smartest move. Going to throughly inspect upon arrival and hope it’s a solid mattress. Any advice on this would help.
Also, heard it’s pretty firm until it breaks in. Any opinions on this would be great as well. Thanks in advance!
In search of a mattress topper recommendation. I got the purple plus mattress in October 2025. I loved it at first, but now I can’t stand this mattress. It started around 6 months into owning the mattress. I’m a back/side combo sleeper and I wake up with the worst lower back and hip pain. It is more comfortable to sleep on my couch at this point. I want a new mattress, but already paid 2k for this awful one. Help!
Has anyone directly compared the Mattress Firm-exclusive Purple Rejuvenate Royale models, especially the Crown or Monarch, with the regular RejuvenatePremier or Ultimate?
We tested the current RejuvenatePremier at a R&F and it felt like a rubber rock: firm, non-buoyant and not very conforming.
The Restore line felt a bit more conforming, but also less substantial, and its motion isolation seemed pretty poor.
We want something soft, plush and body-conforming with strong pressure relief, good cooling, easy movement and better motion isolation. Do the Royale models’ quilted tops, memory foam and latex genuinely improve the comfort and motion isolation, or do they still mostly feel like the standard Purple Grid?
Are the Mattress Firm versions worth the extra cost?
Hi, I'm about to purchase a Purple (mattress firm's 'restore plus cool touch') and wondering if the cover is worth staying with MF vs going to a different retailer?
My boyfriend sleeps super hot so cooling is a priority for him.
I’m shopping through mattress firm due to warranty claim on this mattress I like the mattress but the foam on the edge separated from the grid and is sagging. Just looking for the comparable one or upgrade if reasonable. I have. $2700 store credit currently. Seems like prices have exploded since I last got one lol.
