Priya is going to watch this series back and realise Julia was the only person in that villa actually telling her the truth.

Everyone else nodded along and told her what she wanted to hear (or worse manipulated her for their gain). Julia said the uncomfortable thing to her face, stood by it when it got replayed in front of the whole group, and then the next clip proved her right.

That’s not meddling. That was her best ally in there purely for being honest. When Lorenzo stood by Julia’s opinion in tonight’s show she accepted some of it (given the delivery) from Lorenzo and acted on it. She will see that she was never part of the Jasmine and Mika click and that they weren’t “her girls”.

First of all, she has an opinion. Her delivery is ROUGH, I get that. However, they have been in there with her long enough to know that cornering her doesn't make her change her opinion. She said what she said about the game playing. She explained it in front of all of them. Now they want to have 1 on 1 chats and get mad when she holds on to the opinion. Thats silly. Secondly, did I misunderstand or does it seem that Priya riled all the girls back up after she talked to Julia then said she was hurt by what was said? Julia said then don't ask and she won't say anything more. I don't think it was right to go starting mini fires by trying to change her mind one on one and when she didn't change what she said, to gang up on her.

Why is the game playing thing that big of a deal when Priya and Aidan were on screen talking about it?

I’m curious what people actually think about the whole “they’re playing a game” criticism, especially now that we’re in the final week.

Isn’t there naturally going to be some strategy involved at this stage? The point of Love Island is obviously to find a genuine connection, but there’s also a £50k prize and you ultimately need the public to vote for you to win.

I completely understand criticising someone if you think their entire relationship is fake or they’re deliberately using someone to get to the final. But things like thinking about how you’re coming across, being tactical in votes, or trying to put yourself in a good position for the final… is that actually a bad thing?

Surely by the final week they all know it’s partly a competition as well as a dating show? Where do you draw the line between normal strategy and someone genuinely “playing a game”?

Why did they do Lorenzo's mom like that. Why did they not have makeup people? Why can't the families ​look their best on TV and get the VIP experience. Love Island you wrong for this!!

When islanders had to choose which two had to go home, Samraj said he wanted to stay while Mica said she’s good leaving. She said she’s found her person. Why would Samraj say he wants to stay unless he IS just there to win? I’m very suspicious of him now,even more than before. Thoughts?

Oh man Finn and Ellie are whack man. Mr. Sniffs-a-lots drives me insane. Ellie and Finn will have a terribly tumultuous relationship filled with a lot of future sorrow.

1. Whatever Finley did, so did kav and simba, and even samraj with the whole sneaking around with mica, why are they so bent on painting him as evil? I don’t like him but I don’t think he’s worst than the other men, if he and Ellie got the chance (like the other couples who had similar fall outs) they could reconcile and maybe win since Ellie is already favorite girl ( is that why islanders want her out to increase their chances?) 2. Mica and samraj volunteered to go together but Mica is always in the bottom so the islanders are not threatened by them. 3. Julia was the only logical one and it proves to all her haters that she’s not actually there to play games, if she was she would want Ellie out like the rest of them.

Its getting crazy now and honestly I feel like Love island needs to be cancelled because these crazy fans are clearly unable to passively watch without sending unnecessary hate to the contestants.

not saying that Aiden doesn’t want her but I’m sensing a pattern. She keeps saying she wants someone like Ethan and Carlos, who will choose her consistently and prioritize her, but then mugs them off for someone who’s interested in someone else! She had that other guy in casa, Carlos, who was obsessed with her, but she chose Jordan instead. Now it’s Aiden, who is also interested in Elisia, while Ethan is waiting on her on his hands and knees! Girl for the love of God, PLEASE JUST PICK ETHAN THIS TIME!

At this point I don’t care about jas/lorenzo ship, or if Jasmine is losing her baddie status. I just know their moment in tonight’s episode was the buzziest of all this week so the producers should give them more screen time. No other couple is as buzzy as them.

Next year, change our voting to Thursday nights, with the recouplings on Friday. As it stands, we vote on Tuesday nights, and this is problematic for viewers. The technology exists to allow you to do this. Hell, DWTS does the voting LIVE. Surely, you can do better. Let me explain.

I'm an 80-year old retired television production and marketing guy, so I watch TV as a producer, not as a viewer.

Remember Karaoke Night? It was a Thursday night. Kenzie and Dylan easily won the thing and won immunity. Given the slut-shaming here and elsewhere, people were shocked, but her support grew. I wonder what would've happened had that week's vote taken place AFTER Karaoke Night.

The next week, we voted again on Tuesday night. That Thursday was Family Night, and we watched as Dylan's mom and Kenzie's mom made dramatic statements that solidified their relationship, but our votes had already been given. Moreover, we watched as Sincere's father expressed his disapproval of his son. Melanie's family discouraged her from going forward with Sincere. The next night was the fortune cookies, and Kenzie and Dylan were sent packing. Again, had that vote been Thursday night, we might have voted differently.

I know you're going to argue that your production team needs that extra day to gather everything to make good television, but we both know that's bullshit. Good grief, it's 2026, and technology favors viewers over the wants and needs of your command and control. Fix it. Let us vote JUST prior to the dumping, so that it will better impact our reasoning.

Finally - and as a producer - Kenzie "gets past the glass", an old term used to describe a person whose on-air presence is such that it feels like she's in the room with us. Her reach will extend beyond any other contestant. Dancing With The Stars will welcome that presence, and she will go on to be more famous than anybody else. Dylan will be right by her side during DWTS. Her clam slams were unique. She's a dancer. She's a singer. She's a legit entertainer, and she has that one thing that advertisers want, she is memorable.

So, next year switch things up, and let us vote on Thursday nights. That way, our votes will reflect the whole week, and not just the first half of it.

I’m not really trying to hate, I know it may seem like I am, but I’m genuinely trying to understand how Olandria came off as “classy” and “graceful”???? For starters, she was on love island, I’m sorry, but idc if she didn’t engage in any freaky activities on tv, that show is still trashy highkey. Second, she was bouncing ahh on live television for everyone to see, how is she this classy woman you guys are painting her to be? Now her brand comes off as so since she likes to do photo shots in beautiful clothing, however, before the villa motion, she was posting up looking like an IG baddie, (nothing wrong with it ofc, I love hot women). You guys love to shame women for sexual activities, yet, Olandria had a yk what count of 8, either way, she’s being presented as promiscuous on live television because private and intimate info is being shared and tbh, no classy woman is doing allat. There are a multitude of other things such that I can jump into, but those are some examples, let me know what you guys think…. I genuinely just wanna no thoughts and opinions, I just had these thoughts.
