187 & Rome CC bags - additional DD
If you have pics of your 187 or Rome CC bag BEFORE you removed any of the packaging from seller / shipper,: I’m after specific factory tags, or specific factory protective wrapping.
I’d really appreciate it if you could share them.
Most of the pics/ videos I come across were taken AFTER buyers unpacked the bag.
Specifically looking for pics of:
-The bag straight out of the box.
-Any factory wrapping, tissue paper, foam, or protective materials
-All tags, stickers, ribbons, or other packaging
-Anything that appears to be specific to 187 or Rome factory.

🖤 Ultra Black 25
I’ve been wanting an Ultra Black P9 for ages, and after seeing so many positive reviews on Huahui, I finally gave in. I completely understand the hype now. I wasn’t sure on the size, but 25 is the sweet spot for me.
The leather is honestly the standout. It’s incredibly soft, squishy and already has that relaxed, slouchy look straight out of the box without needing any conditioning. The matte monogram is really well done and looks much closer to authentic than earlier versions I had seen online.
The hardware feels substantial, the stitching is clean throughout, and I couldn’t find anything that immediately jumped out as a flaw. It’s one of those bags that just feels luxurious the moment you pick it up.
💜 Purple 20
This one was definitely my “fun” purchase, and I’m so glad I bought it. It was such an impulse buy, fuelled by the 6.18 sale.
The colour is gorgeous in person. It’s rich without being too bright. I was slightly worried the purple might look a little different from the authentic, but to be honest, I didn’t care. I found difficult to find this version authentic online.
The 20 size is honestly adorable. Small enough to be cute but still fits all my daily essentials, and it keeps that iconic Speedy shape perfectly.
I know that I will be reaching for this bag loads!
Overall Thoughts
This is my first order with Betty, I was influenced by fellow redditors on this sub and the entire process was easy from start to finish. Communication was quick, PSPs arrived promptly, and shipping was faster than I expected. Betty was very patient with me, never short, as I enquired for pricing of 15 bags 😂
Betty went above and beyond, as I wanted the personalised luggage tags to have the “blind stamping effect”, and she delivered!
I waited for quite a long time between paying and the PSPs, and I’m not going to lie, I was a bit nervous. This was my first order with Betty and paying f&f to a TS for the first time is always nerve wracking. I can only imagine how busy the factory was the sale.
As for Huahui… I can absolutely see why these P9s have become so popular recently. The leather quality really exceeded my expectations on both bags, especially considering the price point.
I’m already trying to convince myself that I don’t need another colour… but I don’t think I’m winning that battle. 😂
Safe to say this haul has made me even more obsessed with the P9 line. 🖤💜

What’s In My Bag? B35 from DDMode
purchased a B35 in Noir togo leather with PHW from DDmode during the 6.18 sale. I paid 4390CNY plus 900CNY shipping. My total was $782. I was looking for a second travel bag that wasn’t as heavy as my LV Georges bag. I thought a larger H bag would be a good choice for my upcoming trips. I have seen a lot of them on Pinterest but felt the 40 might be a tad large for me. DD was having a sale so I decided to go for it. I picked PHW because it matches both my Rimowa cabin bag and my LV graffiti suitcase. I also do not love veining on my togo so I picked one without veins. Alone the bag weighs 2.6 pounds. Packed it weighs 9 pounds! 😂 It is about 1 pound lighter than my Georges bag so I saved 1 pound.

I am happy with the bag and I was able to fit the following: 14-inch MacBook Pro, my charger/cords bag, 2 pairs of glasses, 1 pair of headphones, 2 scarves, 1 reusable tote shopping bag, a full size paperback book, my LV perfume atomizer, a D lipgloss, LV lipstick, eye drops, allergy spray, 1 pen, 1 hand sanitizer, 1 H wallet, and one hairbrush. I usually don’t bring a book on the plane since I will watch movies and do audio books with my headphones. However, for road trips I do bring a paperback. I think it would lighten it up a bit to remove the book but 9 pounds is heavy but not overly cumbersome. It also fits nicely on top of a carry on suitcase!

🌴BOTD: My Favorite Raffia Bag; Chloe Summer Banana Raffia Tote🌴
Just wanted to share my bag of the day… or should I say, bag of the week! ☀️🌴
We’re in Punta Cana, and I decided to bring my Chloé Banana Raffia Tote instead of my YSL Raffia Icare. I’ve had this Chloé for over two years now, and honestly, I can’t even remember how much I paid or where I got her from. 😂
She always comes with me on my tropical vacations because the size is just perfect, in my opinion. Not too big, not too small, and she fits everything I need. I can easily fit three bottles of sunscreen, a few iPhones, a water bottle, and still have room for a bunch of other essentials.
This bag has been through it all. She’s been beat to hell over the years, yet she’s still holding up like a champ. She honestly still looks just as good as the day I got her, and that’s exactly why she remains my go to beach tote. Highly recommend! 10/10!!!

PSA: Using the search bar. Finding a seller number. Getting help with quality checks. Doing the bare minimum (your due diligence in researching so you don't get scammed right away)
Before I start, I'm going to hold your hand when I say this: if the hobby you're choosing to engage in is crime, you need to take steps to protect yourself (including extensive research) and you need thicker skin. Expecting anyone here to help you, do your QC for you, find a seller or factory for you, give you a contact number... is misguided at best and dangerous at worst. The information you want is likely already posted somewhere in plain text. This forum is crawling with scammers, people that are misinformed or spreading misinformation for personal benefit, and people that don't know any more than you do. You don't know who you're getting information from. You shouldn't implicitly trust anyone here. Get familiar with the risks before diving into reps.
If you cannot put time and effort into this, leave. Not because I'm mean or on a high horse, but because I care and don't want to see you get scammed, and you're advertising yourself as a target by being underinformed.
Using the search bar
We're in an age where most of the information you want has already been posted. The reddit search bar should be your first resource. Pick the bag you want, say it's a C25, then search for "C25 review rep" to find sellers and factories. Then get more specific, "[size] [color] [material] c25 [factory] [seller] review rep." Mix and match search combos based on the information that you find. Get informed on who sells this product, who has good reviews and bad. Don't only read one review because not all reviews are honest. Build a consensus BEFORE you contact anyone, and especially before you send money to anyone. If the reddit search bar sucks, use Google and add "site:reddit.com" to your search so you get reddit results. Try out the reddit AI tool too. If you're not finding anything, that may be a sign that bag isn't repped, or it's too new, or other root causes that we'll be happy to explore with you after it's clear that you put in the effort.
Search not just reviews, but also past quality checks (QCs) for the bag you want to familiarize yourself with. You'll learn what other OPs and commenters have identified as issues with that bag in the past, plus you can research images of the auth to get good reference photos of what it should look like (which many people like to post in the handbags sub or that brand's sub).
Finding a seller's number
Do searches on the seller too, any reviews about them in general. You may find the last 4 digits of their # posted somewhere, and then do a search of that seller + the 4 digits to find the phone number. If it's a reputable seller (i.e. many of us have used them in the past) I guarantee you'll find their number posted plainly if you do enough searching. You'll find "trusted seller lists" on other subs, you'll find info about their personality, and you'll find their pros and their cons. If you're not finding these things, do not use that seller as your first one. Start with someone better known. Do not DM people for contact numbers as there's nothing stopping them from giving you a fake number, sending you fake pics, taking your money, and ghosting you.
Getting QC help
Your post isn't getting any attention, or worse, you're getting downvoted and people are claiming you didn't do your research? It's likely because some combination of:
- Your post shows you put no analysis in yourself. Asking us to QC is asking us to spend time taking a detailed look at your photos, analyzing them for structure, hardware, color, shape, size, leather condition, stitching, handles, interior, straps/clasps, symmetry, etc. It is work. It is hard. It took us time and effort to develop these skills, in some cases after a lot of trial/error and money wasted. And also, most people won't be familiar enough with your particular bag to give meaningful feedback. It is plainly disrespectful to ask others to do QC for you if you won't put any effort yourself into a first pass. Do you like when people come to you asking for help with something when it's clear they haven't tried to help themselves first? Before you're asking for QC, before you're even ordering, you should be familiar with that bag's attributes. You should have read reviews. You should have read other people's QCs. You should know what your dealbreakers are, what tier of accuracy you're going for, what you do/don't care about being accurate (something will ALWAYS be off on a rep). You don't need to be an expert to do a first pass. 99% of us aren't experts. At the least, try using ChatGPT to help you first (though I can write a whole separate post on why using a text generator is not ideal for photo analysis). Your best bet for getting QC feedback is telling us your observations and coming to us with specific questions or concerns that we can address.
- Your post has almost no photos on it. Good QC posts will have multiple detailed photos in multiple angles, and ideally give us side-by-sides of your pre-shipment photos with the factory photos.
- The photos are bad due to lighting or they're blurry or not detailed. You need to ask your seller for more photos, and ideally ask for photos in natural light as well if color is a concern.
- You are trying to compare your PSPs to the auth. The expectation is before you paid, you did your due diligence by comparing factory photos to the auth and determined you were fine with the factory's differences before placing an order. From there, you should only compare factory photos to your actual item because the only things you can "RL" (red light, i.e. reject) are defects against the factory photos. If you're at the PSP stage, it's too late to do auth comparisons.
- You're asking us to QC an item from a factory that does not allow you to RL, so there's little to no point as you cannot reject that item even if we find an issue. Research the factory you're using before you commit. Some of the best factories for certain styles do not allow RL. That's a risk you have to be willing to accept if you choose that factory.
What I've described here is not advanced, it's 101. It's table stakes. We're doing crime. This hobby is 90% reading/researching and 10% everything else. If you cannot put time and effort into this, it's not for you. Not because I'm mean, but because I care and don't want to see you get scammed, and you're advertising yourself as a target by being underinformed.

Shiny red glazing? Here’s an easy fix!
I’m not sure if this has already been talked about in this group… But if you have a bag with glazing that’s really shiny, you can use a nail polish matte top coat to take away the shine! I’ve also heard a nail file or nail drill can do the same thing, but the nail polish was really easy to use and seemed less messy to me!💖
