Hi everyone, I’m posting this because I genuinely need some guidance regarding a 13-year-old boy who is very close to a friend of mine.

About a month and a half ago, he had a serious leg fracture. The bone was broken on the front side of his lower leg (calf area), and unfortunately, the bone had come out through the skin. He underwent surgery at Allied Hospital Faisalabad, and his leg currently has an external fixator/frame on it.

The stitches/wound situation has become a little concerning for us. Some of the stitches opened up, and the doctors have now opened/managed the wound. There is still one area where the wound has remained somewhat open from the beginning rather than being completely closed with stitches. Even now, it sometimes bleeds, and at times it looks as if there may be pus/discharge coming from the wound.

We have already shown him at Allied Hospital, and we were told that things are okay, but as someone who is worried about this child, I would really appreciate a second opinion from an experienced orthopedic surgeon, especially someone who deals with serious/open fractures and post-operative wounds.

If there is an orthopedic doctor/surgeon here in Faisalabad who could guide us, recommend a good specialist, or tell us where we should get him checked, I would be extremely grateful.

If a doctor needs to see the wound before giving an opinion, I can share pictures of the operated area privately. And if an in-person examination is necessary, we can take the child to the doctor.

I’m not asking for money or donations. I’m simply trying to find the right medical guidance because this is a 13-year-old child, and I don’t want a wound problem or infection to create complications for him later in life.

He has already been through a lot, and his future is ahead of him. His father is not around, and he is also one of the main earning members/supports of his family despite being so young. That’s why we’re especially worried about making sure his leg heals properly.

I had also tried reaching out to my personal doctor, Dr. Usama Bin Saeed, but unfortunately he is currently unavailable.

If anyone here is an orthopedic surgeon, knows a reputable orthopedic specialist in Faisalabad/Lahore, or has genuine experience with a similar case, please comment or DM me.

Even one good recommendation could make a huge difference for this child.

I was initially planning on joining pgc but things didn't work out so I ended up at dmc. I tried to search for um reviews online but couldn't find any. Dmc doesn't have much of a social media presence. If anyone has studied there kindly answer these questions:

So here's something that's been bugging me. Faisalabad is home to some of Pakistan's biggest companies most of them serious exporters moving real money. Yet the city gets almost zero traction or attention compared to Lahore, Karachi, or even Islamabad. Why?

A few things I'm genuinely curious about from people who actually live and work here:

The talent question: These companies employ everyone from tier 5 to tier 1. Do these professionals actually settle here with their families, or is Faisalabad a "work here, family lives in Lahore" kind of city?

The education complaints: I keep seeing people here complain about education options. But a city with this much industry must have plenty of techies, engineers, and professionals so what's actually broken? Schools? Universities? Something else?

The vibe: Is it a livability thing? Infrastructure? Or just branding the city does the work while others get the spotlight?

Context: I'm planning to open my startup office in Faisalabad soon, so I'm trying to get a real feel for the city beyond the export numbers. Would love honest takes the good, the bad, and the stuff nobody puts in articles.

Is the driving test 24/7 at CTO Jaranwala Rd, near Abdullah Pur?
Whats the best day and time to go for minimum rush? Weekend?
