My MPA DS9 hybrid:
Boss component’s shield safeties and CGE’s extended mag release

The front sight screw! Using the Accuracy X ecosystem and coming in at an Allen size of .050 it’s very easy to round over. If there was a generous amount of loctite used, there’s no way to get it off without good heat and a proper fitting bit. In this case, here is my recent pick up. It appears that not only did the previous owner round over the head, but also managed to melt the insert in the front sight blade. I’ll be trying to remove this guy tomorrow without trashing the front sight, or anything else. Stay tuned for either a big win post or me taking the L.

My Hybrid came in on Monday! 7 weeks which was not bad at all. A3 grip is way too much for matches or even extended live fire training. Going to file it down a little bit. Have a ported barrel for IDPA/GPA and a normal barrel for USPSA. This thing is a blast to shoot

-This was the first match after getting the barrel link fixed. Re-attached the optic back on this DS9 Hybrid (2clicks right at 25yds to get the zero back after slapping it on a LOC V2).

-On short & fast stages like this, it's time > points. The longer you take, the more punishing it is on the scoreboards. I had a slight brain fart as I meant to engage that right tuxedo immediately after clearing the left array and left 15yd small popper. The fraction of a second delay cost me a few placements closer to the stage winner (Open GM).

Seriously though, I am broke, ok not broke broke but…. lol

Anyway, I was NOT expecting to buy another gun for a couple months and I swore I was NOT gonna get another black and gold one. But when I found this one for a great deal, I had to jump. Should be at my FFL tomorrow so I’ll report back on its condition. I’m off this weekend so I’ll make sure I post a couple good technical threads.
