A year in Linux and I want to dabble in ricing for the first time

Ive been using Fedora Workstation for over a year and feel totally comfortable with it. I'm ready to branch out into window managers and settled on MangoWM. I’ve already set up a minimal Fedora install via the Everything ISO and installed MangoWM along with its recommended dependencies.

What are the next steps to get started?

decided to switch from hyprland to mangowc because i realised i was making minimal configs recently (+ my pc is awful)

bar: waybar

notification daemon: mako

application launcher: fuzzel

wallpaper utility: swaybg

ask away if you want any more info about this.

full disclosure, i did use ai for a few things, but i tried to do as much as i can by hand. pretty much only used it when i couldn't figure something out.

My windows XP inspired rice

i tried to mix some modern stuff (blur, rounded corners etc) with the luna aesthetic from windows xp, maybe i could have done better but im satisfied with the progress you could say (the least satisfying part was the power menu because it doesnt look good at all)
