MET EXAMS skipped for allied health sciences.

Hey, currently in month of may 2026 i had neet, before that i wasn't going through many options considering neet, as i thought all medical courses are neet based, i didn't had idea first about manipal entrance exams, after my neet was done i was looking for allied health courses specially BPT, now the entrance has already done and still they have option on website to fill forms in case there is vacancies but i don't see much hope of them reaching out, anyone if possible please help me and tell me if there is any chance to join manipal and pursue BPT? I really wanted to go for manipal but it's decided few days late and the chance to give entrance has gone from my hands, and looking at other colleges they are very costly and not as good as manipal, so idk what to do now if possible please share your opinion or guidance will really help me alot.

And is there any chance of them taking students based on neet marks? Like if a person scores good in neet and didn't gave manipal entrance would they give a chance of consideration?

Anything you think i should know about would also help a lot.🌸

Thankyou!🌸

REGARDING BSC BIOTECHNOLOGY AT MSLS

It's been like 5 days since the ranks were released but we still don't have any update/ information regarding counselling for our bsc biotech program at msls. I've heard that there's no counselling, instead they send you an email so has anyone received anything?

Is Manipal Only for Rich or upper middle class?

I'm from a lower-income family and will likely depend on an education loan to fund my studies. For current students and alumni, does financial background affect how people are treated socially or academically at Manipal?

MET PCB 2026 Megathread | Ranks, Courses + RANKPREDICTOR

Exams are over and ranks were out

Let’s discuss what everyone got here. sorry for the late megathread, was busy with other stuff.

Drop your rank, band, score, and what course you’re expecting / got so we can get a clear idea of the applicant pool this year.

I’ve made a form for collecting the course, rank, band, score. PLEASE FILL IT UP.

I will use this data to possibly build a rank predictor for PCB ver. of MET

it’s completely anonymous and will help build proper data for everyone. i will share the database later on.

try not to stress too much about cutoffs — Manipal has a fairly large intake and the applicant pool isn’t huge, so most of us have a real, solid chance of getting into something good. things usually work out better than they might seem right now 🤍

Link to the form (It's on Tally.so) completely anonymous and no email id/login required

FORM: https://tally.so/r/81rzor PLEASE FILL IT UP

Thank you!!!

Need adviceee😭

So till now the plan was to do MBBS abroad. My parents were also convinced and everything was pretty much decided.

But recently my Manipal Allied Health rank came out and I got AIR 1128. Now there’s a chance I might get BPT maybe at Manipal main campus or Mangalore..

I’m seriously considering BPT instead of MBBS abroad, but I’m not sure how to discuss this with my parents and explain my reasons properly…They’ll probably understand, but I want to present it in the best way

Has anyone gone through something similar? Any advice on how to approach this conversation?
