Found dog. Is this yours?

Found male dog June 28, 2026. Large white dog with orange patches. Is nice but cautious. Has injured rear paw/leg. Found on Lima Street in the Briarcreek subdivision off Blake Manor Rd. Has collar, but no tag. I do not have any way to get him to a vet to be scanned. What next?

YAGER FLATS

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice because I’m not sure what my next steps should be.

For several months, I’ve been dealing with ongoing issues involving a neighboring resident at my apartment complex Yager Flats in Manor TX. The situation started with frequent loud arguments, yelling, and disturbances that sounded serious enough for me to be concerned about and weed smoke (I don't care what you smoke or where but once it starts coming into my apartment with my kids its an issue). I know the neighbor just had a baby and she has another smaller child.

One day, after hearing what sounded like a domestic dispute, I politely asked the resident to keep the noise down because it was disturbing myself and some other neighbors. Instead of resolving the issue, the interaction became hostile, and was I threatened by the resident’s boyfriend who just appeared frequently over the past few months.

Since then, I have reported my concerns to the leasing office multiple times. I’ve made them aware of the disturbances, the confrontation, and the fact that I no longer feel comfortable interacting with this person. The leasing office even told me that they would look into it and have multiple complaints for that apartment. Despite my complaints, I feel like the situation has not been adequately addressed.

My concerns are not just about noise anymore. At this point, it’s about safety and wanting to live in a peaceful environment without worrying about confrontations or ongoing disturbances.

For anyone who has dealt with something similar:

  • What steps did you take when management wasn’t resolving the issue?
  • Is there a point where I should contact corporate management or another agency?
  • What kind of documentation should I be keeping?
  • Are there tenant rights or protections I should be aware of in this situation?

I’m trying to handle this appropriately and would appreciate any advice from people who have been through something similar.
