MantisX and TitanX helped me figure out my grip and trigger press issues in just a few days.

I started shooting a few months ago after a few decades of no shooting and quickly realized my shooting was really poor. I thought at first that range time would fix everything. It didn’t. So I bought the MantisX X3 first and did a lot of dry fire and that helped right away. A week or so later I bought the TitanX. The big advantage was not having to rack the slide every shot. So I could finish a dry fire session a lot quicker and it was more like live fire. Some people argue it’s not perfect because there’s no recoil. What I found was that using either the TitanX or X3, I could pinpoint exactly what I was doing during the trigger press that caused muzzle movement and I could fix that. My personal experience is that training without recoil is very effective, especially if you’ve had enough live fire time so you familiar with how recoil feels.

TitanX

I just purchased the Titan X. I haven't really messed with it much other than opening the box and inspecting but if id like to do target practice with it would I need to purchase the full Laser Academy?

BlackBeardX

I’m extremely happy with this system. I’ve thought about it since I first saw it a few months ago and finally caved and decided to order it. Been using it for a week straight. It scratches the itch I’ve always wanted to scratch inside my own home. Sure the argument is it saves you money on ammo. But what it does is more than that, is gives you time inside your house or your friends who want to learn CQB. Time to see where your rounds would impact at a closer range than whatever distance your sight is set at. How to turn corners and pull the trigger without finding a shoot house. Sure it doesn’t give recoil, but it does increase comfort using a rifle inside open rooms and hallways.

I would also recommend this as a learning tool for kids who are old enough to handle firearms. It’s beyond safe and fun to use. Only thing I’m curious about is how many years the system will hold up. All in all, I love it.

Laser malfunction Titan X

Hey.

I am the proud owner of a Titan X 700.

And 3000+ dry trigger pulls in 3 weeks, I tried to connect it to a second device.

This for some reason turned off the laser 😭

So I disconnected it in the app on the secondary device, logged out, and removed the app. Then made the device forget the Bluetooth connection and turn off first the Bluetooth and then the second device.

Then reconnected it to the first device. And tried force restart on the Titan. Cleard the buffered memory, and went through the troubleshooting in app.

Still no laser.

The Titan will connect, and registrerte trigger movement/resetting and movement of the Titan. So i can still dry fire but not use any targets for training.

Does anyone else ever experienced it before or have an idea?

If there is an option to toggle the laser on/off in either app, please write the entire directory for the option.

Hope its an easy fix. I love this practice tool.

TitanX has been a game changer

Got my TitanX in January, mounted a MeCanik Mo3 optic on it (6 moa SRO clone that is a great optic I also run on my uspsa pistol), put some handle it grips on there and have dry fired north of 26k rounds at this point. This has made dry fire a blast, I’ve set all my start positions to from holster. I went from a low C class shooter in steel challenge CO to B class in 3 matches using this for training (15-30min daily). This is 10/10 the best tool I’ve used to help improve my shooting. Only thing I’d change about it is I wish the trigger shoe were replaceable, I run the OP polyDAT on all my competition Glocks because I’m a big fan of flat face shoes…but the upside is I’ve gotten fast at running this trigger and it’s translated well in live fire.
