Did... did Deadline describe Storm as someone 'T'Challa had a son with in the comics'?

Scott and Jean got mini bios. Storm could have been mentioned as 'worshipped as a Goddess in Kenya', or 'leader of several X-teams', 'member of The Avengers' even. Instead, they define her by her relationship with a male character.

Feels like she's being undersold.

I dont know if you will read this, but when you walked onto that D23 stage Maya, I literally cried because I had seen you on Broadway singing!!! I am so happy for you to have gotten the opportunity to play this role...The x men storm has meant the entire world to me. STORM is the ultimate protector who carries herself with so much poise and grace, and Maya, you are extraordinary woman full of elegance and regality...I cannot wait to see you ascend into your full power with this character!
