Medal is only popular because it solved a consumer issue. Medal allowed the sharing of clips. It blended social media with a clipping software. It solved a problem. However, as a general consensus from users in other subreddits, arbitrary encounters online with others who utilize medal, and my personal experience: Medal is a HORRID clipping software on its own. Can we be serious? I appreciate numerous aspects of the software but somehow it CONSISTENTLY has bugs. I find myself not being able to clip then not being given a reason. I find sometimes I clip and the entire clip is black but includes audio. I am writing this out of frustration and digress going further. I am at my wits end and have finally deleted it and made the switch. I suggest the application be fixed before others make the switch too. I should not have to run the repair this often.

Is it just me or medal is so p2w. Like you have to pay 12$ Monthly to have a larger cloud storage like I can just use windows record like I do. I am talking about Windows button + G You can just use that I know that 12$ is not that bad but really why should I pay 12$ I can just use Windows record not only it's free but it also has more options. I am sticking with Windows record

My medal completely refuses to clip Minecraft showing recorder inactive, I have fabric mods installed but no mods change anything to do with full screen/borderless, aspect ratio etc with Minecraft (Tested and the same issue happens on a completely vanilla 26.1 installation)

I tried enabling Force Window Capture as well but that just make it switch between working and Inactive every 2 seconds until staying on Recorder Inactive after 10 seconds of it doing that.

It is a nightmare for me to share my screen to my friends and share clips when things like THAT are there in the top right, especially when some people I screenshare to are MINORS. If me posting this is against the rules here for NSFW content then surely it's also considered NSFW on the app itself too right?

I mainly play league and I really love medal's auto clipping feature and I love that it automatically has titles on what happened in clips like 'double kill' or 'player slain' but recently my medal doesn't auto clip anymore even when I have the setting on and all my clips are just 'untitled'. It still works fine if I manually press the clip button but I really want to know how to fix this issue. Someone help plz

I toggled the "Automatic Startup" to off, right after installation, but Medal starts when I switch to Winslop everytime.... with Focus on it, so yeah, the "Automatically Focus Medal" option is ignored too.

What other options are ignored?

I've been a premium subscriber for 2 years now, and I've hit my limit. I held on this long because any issues I've had thus far have usually gotten fixed.

A few days ago, through no fault of my own, my files got corrupted. Lost like 600 clips, including some of my favorite clips of my best friend who has passed. (I was in the process of backing up these clips when this happened). I'm completely heartbroken, and I've decided enough was enough and canceled my subscription. And before anyone says anything, I know i should have backed up my clips somewhere else earlier, but I didn't think that there even could be an issue that basically gets rid of everything.

I love some parts of medal, like posting to your profile and having full session recordings with auto bookmarks. Does anyone have any alternatives they like?

So i was rewatching my clips until my audio gets delayed in a moment. I dont know why this is happening, and im pretty sure i didn't had this issue when first getting medal.

When I play the video inside the Medal app, a delay suddenly happens right in a moment. If I click on the exact timeline spot where the delay started, it seems to vanish and the audio doesn't get delayed.

However, when I open the actual mp4 file outside of Medal, that specific moment, the audio completely cuts out and goes completely silent for about 0.5 to 1 second right where that delay happens.

I am on the website version of Roblox, using an AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT, and my encoder is GPU/AV1. I've already tried turning off Exclusive Mode, matching my sample rates, turning off Separate Audio Tracks, and lowering my bitrate, but it still cuts out.

Why does this keep happening, and how do I fix it?

I was doing a cleanup of my clips, deleting uneeded ones and naming/trimming lots of them. During this I found out about the auto link-creation setting and disabled it. Here’s where it got weird.

I deleted a bunch of clips, and when I’d restart medal they’d show up again. Looked into it and realized that the clips were being deleted from my files, however they would repopulate when I restart the app due to the server uploaded version. I used the medal iOS app to try deleting the expiring link versions on my profile, and they’d STILL come back.

Only once I deleted the clips on both PC and iOS at the same time, then cleared both of their caches did it properly get rid of those clips.

Now, you can see I found a solution to clear those clips, albeit a tedious one. However I have no clue what’s causing this, these clips are many months old. They’re supposed to have a 14 day timer, but none of them have any timer at all. I do not have premium. Basically every single clip I’ve ever taken got a never expiring link that I can access for some reason

Furthermore, the iOS app’s library shows a bunch of old, deleted clips in the “On your PC section”. None of these clips work though, and they don’t show on the desktop client at all.

Any help would be appreciated!

For some reason medal keeps showing clearly incorrect dates and view counts on my clips, and it's getting super annoying

Earlier today I clipped something, posted it, then looked to see it said "5 views, 15 hours ago"

I literally have tried refreshing it, just closing the window, and opening it on mobile but it still has some type of incorrect reading

I can't find anything else on the Internet about this, probably because I didn't look hard enough but whatever

my screenshots are disabled. Right? And i keep clicking backspace cause it's a common key to use. It keeps. screenshotting. It's not even bound to backspace either which is why i'm so annoyed. Does anyone please know a fix to this??

My medal isn’t opening at all even if I open it through administrator, it doesn’t even show up on task manager. I’ve seen other posts and the only thing i’ve seen work is just fully deleting the app. Is there anything else I would be able to do? I really would like to keep all my clips.

I constantly update my bitdefender automatically, i was just playing a game when all of a sudden i get a notification saying infected item quarantined, i look on bitdefender and find that it detects path C:\Users\hamza\Appdata\Roaming\Medal\Crashpad\settings.dat as infected, as the dumb drunk idiot i am, i go ask ChatGPT for help, tells me its a fake virus alert and that crashpad is raw dat blah blah and then i deleted it because i didnt want to risk my pc possibly getting infected, is this happening to anyone and is it normal?

i do NOT have any other viruses, i do full system scans every here and then to check, and the only time i almost got a virus was from accidentally pressing an ad with brought me to get a phishing link and it was deleted and quarantined right away by bitdefender, and it was automatically deleted obviously.

is this geniuenly normal? im fighting for my life here deciding whether or not to delete MedalTV.

o autoclip do meu primo tem mais de 100 jogos e detectam automaticamente, o meu detecta só 27 tentei entrar em contato com suporte, porque meu primo não mexeu em nada, e o dev acha que meu primo usou uma ferramenta de criar perfis personalizados.
Alguém sabe como faz pra aumentar?
