Mid-Game Slow Down

What do you guys do to pass the time once your activities in game go from taking a few minutes/hours to complete to days to complete? I’m looking at the astrology grind and just thinking wow… I basically won’t be playing for almost a week straight while this runs on its own.

I know that’s kind of the point of idle games, but what do you do to maintain some sort of active participation in the game at that stage? Township is a fun check-in every few hours. Should I maybe unlock farming as well at this point so I have both passive skills to check in on while I work through some of these longer activities?

Into the abyss, grinding AP faster

I'm playing in adventure mode and keeping up with the required amount of AP for each skill level cap is getting really hard. I actually might have screwed up my skills.

My current method is grinding agility, but that's around 28m/h and that would take almost a full day to get the money for the next cap level. (~600m AP)

Is there any faster method for farming AP or I just have to power through it this way?

Multiple accounts question

Recently gotten hooked with the game and noticed some people are playing multiple accounts.

I’m on mobile, if I set my “main account” to do some fishing or long afk skill. Then go make a second account and actively play that for a day. When I check back in on my main, will it have actively been fishing for those 24 hours? Or can you only have 1 “active” account at a time?

Thanks!

Guess this is the first tough grind that I face...

Currently, I can kinda farm the magic stronghold.

I really don't want to swap between enhancements, so I need both the undead & magic SE.

But, even if I obtain the SE, I cannot sell AEs since pet are located only at superior strongholds.

As a cherry on top, the chance of locating the pet (1/250) is smaller than the SE (1/101), so I have to grind until I get pets and SE for each strongholds?!

+ Maybe I can grind for pets later, however I'm super short in bank space, so I never want to see AEs lying around in my bank if I have the SE. If I sell AE, I have to start over from the standard stronghold...

25% mastery pool utility?

Hi guys, i was just asking myself, what's the point of having 25% mastery pool with the cape of completion? I'm thinking we don't need mastery xp anymore once you have all masteries at 99, am i missing something? Thank you.

After 8351 hours... I'm finally done with Melvor Idle 1

This day my life will change quite literally.

Got the last 3 missing achievements on my hardcore character.
I decided to go full hardcore and had no backup saves. So if anything went wrong, I had to start a new hardcore save.
Died 3 times. First time in the early beginnings while thieving, one time mid game because I ran out of food and one time at the god dungeons which was extremely painful to lose that character.

On this run I made sure to make no mistakes and it worked.

I started playing in December 2023. Finished the game with all extensions first and then decided to go for the full achievements with a hardcore character.

Since December 2023, this game was every day in my life. Pretty much never missed to logon, change skills, harvest stuff etc.
Had it running in the background on my second or third screen while doing other things.

The next days & weeks will be weird, having to not logon anymore to check stuff but I'm also relieved.

At the same time I have to admit, I'm not interested in Melvor Idle 2, just because I'm pretty sure it will take the same amount of attention and time and I'm not willing to do that again.

This game was definitely worth it's money. Was a fun journey.

Is Slicing Maelstrom worth it?

So I was using slicing Maelstrom with an aura and curse and I was using over 120,000 runes/hour

I also tested the agile wings rapier against the Leviathan, a melee monster that you in theory should use magic against. I ended up getting 2/3 as many kills with the melee setup, which kind of bummed me out because you can't make 120,000 runes per hour, or even close to 240,000 runes/hour which would even out the effective kills per hour between the two methods.

Is endgame magic just bad for farming because of the rune upkeep?

Is Diamond Luck Potion the best combat potion?

Just looking at all the buffs from potions and I'm getting closer to 85 herblore. It seems like it literally doubles your accuracy. Am I missing something or is it just far better than any other combat potion?

Training Crafting is so lame...

Until level 50, I made useless leather armor and some gem necklasses.

From level 50, I unlocked urns, but other than those, I should make dragon hides until 99?

Seriously, it's so meaningless and has so little synergy with other skills. It's simple bc all you have to do is buy leather from the shop, craft it, and sell it with a deficit.

If I don't go for ranged combat, I find almost no point to train Crafting...

When should I train my other combat skills?

Hey guys!

24 days in so far, and my attack is level 58, strength is level 53, and defense is level 40. I try to level these skills evenly. - But my magic is at 19, and my ranged is at 1.

Currently, I’m trying to finish the town tasks and level up my town to get my taxes going. But is there a certain point when I should catch up on the other combat skills? I’m aware of the combat triangle, but so far, melee has worked fine. Although, when I farm fairies, I guess ranged would be better. So, do you guys have any tips?

Thanks!

Currently doing this set here. With Fire Surge and Fury II I start with Diamond Potion, but then change to Damage reduction when past 25 infliction.

Any advice on what im doing wrong ?

Game down?

I'm new to melvor, but I am getting some sort of server error on both PC and mobile. Is it down? Or maintenance? Or is it somehow just me?

Leveling weapons

Just curious as someone who’s main way of obtaining gear is making it myself, is this game similar to osrs in the sense that leveling my combat skills should be done with a scimitar? Or should I make myself a different weapon to afk train with?

Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

Edit: Forgot to mention I am
45 attack
46 strength
40 defense
