I've literally gotten married, fired, new job, pregnant, and will likely have our son before I'll see my machine. On top of that I've seen a Meticulous go for sale on FB marketplace as well which made me extra annoyed. Wildly frustrating :S.

Received my machine in immaculate condition and pulled 5 shots yesterday to dial it in, and I must say the outcome was amazing!

I woke up today intending to continue my exploration but the scale decided to malfunction :( tried turning off and on the machine from mains, doing a factory reset and reconnecting the scale but nothing seems to work. it can’t be physical because it worked perfectly fine yesterday so I’m thinking software glitch?

Anyone having scale issues (scale not connected) and successfully rectified it? thanks?

I'm so excited to finally be getting my Meticulous this week, however, this is my first espresso machine and I'm still acquiring all the gear I need. I was disappointed to hear that the accessories are shipping at a much later point because I backed the meticulous tamper.

I can't remove it from Backerkit at this point, and tried to reach out to support, but having trouble getting any response at all from them. Ideally, I'd like to be refunded for the tamper so I can go get a new one elsewhere (especially since I just forked out ~400 for shipping, duties, and taxes). Anyone have any luck reaching support?

Aramse discussed the heating / temperature topic in their in depth video. I have pulled 10-15 shots so far and I noticed this morning that the second shot came out hotter than the first one even though I‘m using boiling water from a kettle and gave it a few minutes for the first shot for the water to heat back up. Now I‘m thinking whether I should just heat up the machine, purge all of the water and then refill and pull the shot. Any thoughts?

Do y‘all think I caused damage to the sensors or any other part of the machine due to that? Not sure how this happened but I was somewhat distracted and am now stressed out :(

Hello ! Coming from a Silvia, I'm wondering what your workflow is with the Met ? Regarding cleaning the portafilter, warming the cups, back to back shots ?

On the Silvia, I was used to clean my portafilter after each shot by simply using the Silvia :

- pour shot

- empty the portafilter in the knock box

- pour water on the portafilter using the Silvia, letting the water go down in the drip tray

- put the portafilter back on the machine

On the Met, i purge in a bowl after each shot, and knock the puck after, leaving me with a dirty portafilter and no water. I have to go to the kitchen to rince it.

I know, the Met is in its own category, but I was wondering if you guys figured out some tips to manage this more easily ?

I currently been rocking a Linea mini R plus Kafatek MC6 and it’s a dream. I do wish I can do more profiles.

Is this machine can act as a lever quality shots?

I was thinking of getting one just a secondary but still had my Linea mini since.i do lots milk drinks.

Overkill?
