Kasi if mahihirapan ako or ma-stuck sa baha etc I’ll cancel my appointment nalang. Commuter here (bus/mrt/grab/angkas/joyride).

Hello, I’m planning to work in Makati soon and will relocate near my workplace. Super mahal ng mga rent if sa mismong Makati. Does anyone know kung san pa pwede maghanap ng place na medyo malapit lang sa Makati? Or atleast yung mga isang sakay lang na place from Makati? Tyia

30F, single, no kids. Im mainly here for work. But during my first year here, i immediately moved in with a partner. We were together for four years, and honestly, parehas kaming walang masyadong friends. At least siya, born and raised dito. Ako, on the other hand, mag isa lang talaga.
Kapag wala siya, parang lost din ako. Hirap din talaga akong makipagkaibigan, siguro dahil na rin sa personality ko, or idk. 😅
Now that im on my own, i feel so lost. Im slowly realizing how little of Metro Manila ive actually experienced and how much ive isolated myself. Maybe its finally time to get out there, explore, and start meeting ppl. But idk where to begin.

I’m supposed to fly next Friday from Canada to Manila for three days, staying in Makati. I see there’s a flooding crisis. Will it be ok to travel?

As title says, I’m curious to those who have a car but still choose to use Grab every now and then.

Personally me, I use my car if it’s nearby and has parking. However I sometimes use Grab if it’s quite far and parking is difficult.

An ultra bilyonaryo on a buying spree may have just added one of Metro Manila’s most valuable corners to his growing empire.

Even while trying to seal a tectonic deal that could redraw the corporate landscape, a Babbler said the visionary tycoon apparently could not resist another opportunity too good to pass up: a major shopping mall sitting on 2.5 hectares at one of the capital’s busiest intersections.

Babbler said the price being discussed is between ₱10 billion and ₱12 billion, or roughly ₱400,000 to ₱500,000 per square meter of land.

Not bad for a mall that has seen better days. But the real prize may not be the mall at all.

The sprawling property sits beside the walls of an exclusive village where members of the buyer’s family live, making the site an unusually strategic piece of real estate in the heart of the metropolis.

What he plans to do with it remains anyone’s guess. Keep the mall? Tear it down? Build offices, residences or a mixed-use complex? Or simply hold on to a rare 2.5-hectare block in central Metro Manila?

The seller is no ordinary property owner either.
