Hi all! My partner and I are looking into Mill Valley as a potential place to buy, since we just love the area and houses. I understand that housing can be quite expensive here, but if down payment and mortgage would be non-issues what are some of the pros and cons of being a home owner in Mill Valley? What's the likeliness of fires or flooding? Ability to get fire insurance? Best and worst parts about doing errands like grocery shopping or gassing up? Things of that nature.
