Hello! I’m low-elo and whenever I play as sup I usually pick morgana. Recently I’ve discovered lux which just feels like a better morgana?(besides the shield). Therefore I wanted to ask, what would make morgana better than lux?

I always liked playing Morgana no matter how weak or strong she was

And although most ADCs seem to not like having Morgana in their team nowadays, I feel like Morgana seems quite powerful.

Especially matchups like Karma, which are seen as very difficult, I actually like playing against Karma. They almost never go Mikael's + very often I get an assassin jungler in SoloQ that loves playing into enchanter supporter.
But is Morgana actually strong? Particularly this season with the amount of telegraphed assassins (Naafiri R, Qiyana E+R, Ambessa R, Lee Sin R...) allowing her to easily prevent enemy combos + being good with named champs that dive in deep.

To note: I currently play Morgana mostly with 3 Points Q -> E max -> Q max + Guardian as keystone while looking for high Heal&Shield-power

Here is what I did.

I tried out different builds and this is still in development as I am not a mathematics guy.

I've been playing Morgana top and my goal is to utilize her healing and become an ap bruiser who can use her ult better than the support version, also stay alive longer and CC more.

So far I've tried dozens of RUNES and my personal tier list is:

The "Death Fire Torch" into "Liandry's" is not viable as a bruiser you need more HP therefore I rushed "Riftmaker" into "Rylais" and then "Liandry's" wich helped and solved a lot of issues I was facing high mastery point OTP player like a Darius one trick who couldn't do anything against me I was face tanking him and he could hook me one time even if he could I was standing inside him and out trading and out healing him.

I am by far not a Morgana Main but I became obsessed to make this work so far I have 30 games in ranked and I lost 3 so far.

My core is Rift maker, Rylais, Liandry's

Situationally I take abyssal mask, bramblevest, frozen heart, spirit visage, tanky boots, early defensive parts like cloth Armor etc,

For summoner I run always TP or Exhaust against high DMG threats.

I could legit face tank in a team fight and survive consistently and I think this is much better suited for Morgana in general I love this play style.

I play Morgana Emerald 2 almost as a one-trick, with occasional games as Sona, Nami, Thresh, but my results with them are meh, with disappointing win rates. I want to expand my champion pool whenever she is mediocre in draft, not only when she is banned. I am looking for a proactive support that deals damage. I know which champions kinda fit into these roles, but I have difficulty working them into my pool.

My strengths as Morgana : I am extremely active in dominating opponents and can play very aggressive, initiating risky dives that people don't take in my elo. I have multiple cheeses that work with high %, I am coordinated with my jungle. I can alternate between peel and engage. I am good at assessing lane state, freezes. I try to think about winconditions.

My weaknesses : I take too much farm. I sometimes win games by split pushing till nexus when toplaner doesn't do it. I know this is not a good thing. I throw out Qs like candy, knowing full well that it entails losing pressure. I die to get last auto attack on ward. I go on tilt sprees where I die on repeat. I am sometimes lost on itemization, building Ionian 9/10 or sorcerers or occasional merc / tabi.

Sona : I play around my danger zone and have difficulty putting in the discipline to never actively try to use Q on enemy champions. I meaninglessly waste power chords. I die too much and am slow on W damage debuff. I am lost with itemization. I have the occasional 1v9 carry when I am good on my movements.

Nami : I die a lot and fail to balance aggression with control. I throw good bubbles but often wasted. I don't understand how strong she is. I am lost on itemization.

Thresh : mediocre positioning as I'm often behind. I feel underwhelming even when landing hooks.
