What’s eating me alive

I’ve been having multiple bites show up over a period of 3 weeks and I don’t know what it is. I have a dog and have checked for fleas, I see nothing and the dog does not seem to be itching or showing any other symptoms. I share a bed with my partner who has had none show up. They are itchy and sometimes in clusters and sometimes individual bites (pictured). I’m going insane looking for bedbugs and haven’t seen anything and think it’s odd that my partner would have none if I’ve being eaten alive. I spend moderate time outside walking the dog etc. but I live in Halifax so majority of the time is outside in a city so I can’t imagine it would be mosquitoes, the park I walk in is mostly grass with a few domestic trees. I don’t know what to do. I’ve had 28 bites in 3 weeks. Any help would be appreciated.

Am I allergic?

These are mosquito bites from last summer (post-Zyrtec). Just one pic, but this is very typical.

This happens to me every year, but only late in the season (August-ish). Usually I get one or two mosquito bites, they itch a little, maybe get a little bigger than normal, but it’s pretty average. Then at the end of the season, BAM. I get bitten 40+ times, they balloon in size, they’re hot, red, they weap, and they’re unbearably itchy. Plus they discolor my skin and don’t fade until well into winter.

Am I allergic? Maybe just to a late season breed of mosquito or something?

30 (F), 5’7 and about 150 pounds. I am allergic to wheat, soy, corn, citrus, and nuts (but only a little—they showed up on my allergy tests but I still eat them with negligible symptoms). I also got allergy shots for molds, grasses, and trees weekly for about 5 years. Plus usual seasonal allergies.

Mosquito bite like a rash after few days?

Excuse how yellow my camera makes everything, but I was bit 6 times by a mosquito that got into the house almost 3 days ago now, a relatively tiny fella he was.

Only moderately itchy, my ankle itches the worst but it's only a tiny bump like a regular mosquito bite. The two (biggest and one directly below it) in the image swelled up to 2 inches wide, not unusual for me when I get mosquito bites but this fella looks like a rash now. The one below the big one is itchier than the big one which is the one I'm concerned about.

What gets a bite to look like a hickey??? I haven't been touching it all that much and it's not unbearably itchy, it doesn't even itch most times... it's just... weird looking, which is why I'm concerned. I've always been more sensitive to mosquito bites but never had one react like this, let alone last more than a day, is this any actual cause for concern?

Was gonna post on bugbites but it redirected me here, tell me if I should post there instead 👍👍

Seeing people add their location too so uh... Southeast USA??? That help somewhat? I 'unno I think that's more for identifying whatever bit ya, not the outcome of the bite.
