I’m coming up from CO for a few days, and will be bringing my skis. I may just end up trying to ski the snow field below Muir, but I was thinking about maybe coming to baker instead. I am not trying to summit it or do anything ambitious. I am just trying to get some summer ski turns and do a few laps. What is the highest I can safely ascend up the mtn as a solo hiker/climber before crevasses become an issue? Are there any routes, trails, or parking area that you could recommend for me to use? Thanks in advance.
