Hi, I used chatgpt to come up with the room idea. How would you go about painting the clouds? I was thinking a sponge, but any suggestions is much appreciated!
I’m interested in trying out something new. I use the Central Pneumatic HVLP gravity-fed spray guns. Overall, I like them and they've worked well for me, but they of course have their little quirks that can get a little aggravating at times and I'm curious what other spray guns people are using and liking.
I recently tried the ‘universal paint system’ with the interchangeable cups, but for the way I work it ended up being pretty inefficient. I switch colors constantly and often bounce back and forth between them, so having to swap cups and spray out the previous color felt more time consuming and wasteful than just grabbing a different gun.
I'm not necessarily looking to replace my current setup, l genuinely like these guns, but I'm interested in hearing about and trying alternatives I may not know about.
For context, I attached these photos to show my style of painting. I use the Wagner Flexio electric sprayer for first coats and larger fills, then switch to my gravity fed guns for shading/details. (I will say, I don’t love the Flexio for a few different reasons, but it gets the job done lol)
What are you guys using, and what do you like/dislike about it? Thank you! 😊
