It's getting worse now.

Corruption and unchecked authority seem to be the norm here. Nobody wants to take responsibility for anything, but they're always ready to throw their weight around whenever someone dares to question them. It's been six years at NERIST, and if there's one thing the administration has been consistently bad at, it's providing water. Honestly, they've failed in many areas, but this is the one thing they've managed to be consistently terrible at.For the last two days, not a single drop of water has been available in the hostels. It's hard to understand how a basic necessity can be ignored like this. If the hostel can't provide clean water, decent food, or even basic living conditions, then what exactly are students paying hostel fees for?

We deserve basic amenities, not excuses.

Too much wastage of time in the name of celebrating “diverse identity” and “representation”!!

I strongly believe, in NERIST, in the name of celebrating all - inclusive representation and diverse identity, lot of unnecessary chaos are created and lot of time gets wasted!!

In my view these state-wise unions should have been scrapped and one student body with equal representation should be formed!!

Nextly, these state-wise Freshers and Farewells should have been scrapped. In my thought, these are utter wastage of time. Think about it. We already have GFM and the Farewell, then we have Freshers and Farewells at the departmental level. Why the fuck do we want to form our own narrow corners determined by this gold standard of “cultural - socio - ethnic identity”. Again, if these state-wise Freshers and Farewells are got done with, the state unions will have far less things to do!!

What are your thoughts??!!

Update found on the report of one man committee by Ministry of education. Source is still unverified.

I wonder how many women in AP know that a govt. Employee isn't allowed to have 2nd wife. 1st wife can raise a complaint to the concerned HOD.

What's your take on this situation?

What are some amicable solution to this deadlock situation between apex organisations of state and an autonomous institute that has recently seen new academic developments under the current director.
