I’m applying to NIT Lahore for Fall 2026, and I had a question for current students or anyone who got accepted there.

Since there’s no entry test, how much does the actual application matter? Do they look deeply into the application, personal statement, extracurriculars, achievements, etc., or is it mainly based on academic percentages?

Basically, does the application need to be very strong and polished, or is a decent/average application enough if your marks are good?

I’d really appreciate insights from students who got admitted:

• What do they mainly focus on?
• What do you think helped you get accepted?
• Anything you wish you knew before applying?
