Is there any chances that I can get admission even after the deadline. I was waiting for other unis admission results and now as I am refused from everywhere, can ai get into NIT.

can anyone studying at NIT Lahore let me know how your experience has been so far esp with the academics faculty and overall campus life also what are the chances of getting need based financial aid, when do classes start and is there an interview test or anything else required for admission and most importantly is it actually worth it since its a new uni im a bit skeptical about it

PLEASE CONFIRM ANYONE THIS FROM THE NIT BECAUSE I HAVEN'T SEEN ANY OF THEIR DEGREE ACCREDITED BY THESE 2 BODIES SO IT IS A HUGE RED FLAG

Edit: So they changed the dates, now interviews will be conducted from 21 August onwards n final results will be annouced on 6th September. Also u will get ur email about the date for interview after 21 August or maybe before so yeah just keep an eye on ur emails.

If you’re considering NIT, there are a few things you should know before making your decision.
The university changes its policies all the time, often without proper notice. Recently, they removed the hostel scholarship, increasing the financial burden on students.
The management is incredibly disorganized. They can call you before a disciplinary committee over minor issues, and it often feels like students are treated as if they’re guilty by default.
This year, we had our mid exams just three days before Eid, and immediately after the exams we were told to vacate the hostels. There was no flexibility despite students needing to travel home for the holidays.
The new hostels don’t even have air conditioners, even though students were promised they would. On top of that, the curfew policies are unnecessarily strict, communication with students is poor, and the hostel in-charge is extremely rude. He has laughed at students’ concerns and treated them disrespectfully.
The campus itself is already quite small, yet the hostel fees are higher than LUMS, while the facilities and overall management are nowhere close to that standard.
I’m not saying everything about NIT is bad, but if you’re planning to enroll, make sure you know what you’re signing up for. Don’t rely only on what you’re told during admissions talk to current students first.

Is ASU degree worth it if my future goal is not to go settle in america but in europe (obv cus of the expense and also many of my relatives are in EU)

Will it help me in any sort to go to Europe that A Comsat's or NUST's degrees wont?

Dont wanna spend that much on NIT's fees without getting a benefit that I am not already getting.

also after calculuating the scholar ship from my IBCC equivalence, I am getting 35% merit based scholarship but when I calculate it thru their own calculator on the website by putting in the A/Olevels Grades directly, it tells me that ill be eligible for only 20%,
Need help on these issues thanks!

do you have to transfer your credits and pay ASU's fee in order to get its degree or can you just keep on studying in NIT while paying the regular fees and you would get the ASU's degree asw?

And if thats the case, do we have to go to america and study in ASU physically asw?
