Floor lamps scene not in sync

Hello everyone.

I am experiencing a weird thing with my floor lamps.
I have both of them in a group and when I play a scene from there, they do play the scene but not in sync. For example “Northern lights” scene plays different colors on each lamp.

I have already hard reset them, deleted from my app and re pair them, remove them from Apple home, unplug them, re plug them… I can’t find anything similar online, so if anyone has any clue on what could it be and/or how to fix I would be very grateful

My very own Coldplay show! 🤩

...and it was all yellow!

I never got to see them live, but Orchestrator is the next best thing.

Essentials Matter Thread Update 👀

This just just popped up in my app today! Home Assistant says it’s now Matter 1.4.2 and Thread 1.3.

Edit: I’m not enrolled in the beta. Also it looks like the lights have smooth brightness transitions!

Hey all,

This smart multi light device have a front and back light. I can control the front light with API.

Does someone know how to control them both, front only and back only?

I read some posts they thus device not work with panels IDs so that's not a option.

It's not supported (yet) in Home Assistant so created a rest_command and a virtual light to control it in HA and via Alexa

todays updated borked my install, app now crashes on load

New update completely wrecked my nano install, clearing cache didnt work, literally had to uninstall and reinstall the software so it wouldn't crash on open any more. Now i've lost all my saved light setups. <s> Good job Nanoleaf. </s>

[Bug] Desktop App refuses to initialize Lightstrips in Screen Mirror Module

Hey everyone,

Has anyone else experienced this problem or has a solution?

The Situation:

  • I had 2 PC Screen Mirror strips. One of them got a bricked controller.
  • Got a replacement, but it didn't get recognized in the Screen Mirror tab.
  • After long support drama, I got another replacement, which, as expected, didn't get recognized either. Wonder why?

In the Dashboard View, ALL strips are detected instantly, connected, and fully controllable. But the Mirror tab remains completely blank.

The Worst Part: Dumb as I was, I thought "Well, why not clean the AppData?" to get the new strips to show up. Worst idea ever, because now not even my old one, which worked perfectly fine before, gets recognized anymore! I'm now sitting on three strips where not a single one screen mirrors. It seems the app was just running on an old cached token for the working one. Without that old cache, the current app simply refuses to initialize ANY strip for the Mirror module.

PC Fixes & Tries I already did (It's not my PC):

  • Deinstalled the app via Revo Uninstaller and made a deep clean (Registry, AppData, LocalAppData).
  • Ran app as Administrator & disabled Virus software/Firewall.
  • MPO disabled in Registry.
  • Screen capture/DXGI APIs work perfectly (tested in Discord/OBS).

My Specs: Win 11 | i5-13600KF | RTX 4070 Ti (Driver: 610.74)

My Question: Is anyone else dealing with this? Also: Does anyone have an older installer? My idea is to roll back, generate the tokens/cache for all three strips on the older working version, and then update the app so the tokens persist.

Nanoleaf desktop app so ass.

Everything is either unreachable or invalid auth token. I got tired of this shit. Never buying any nanoleaf products. I even got a sense+ wireless controller and 70% of the times It just does not work I have to fully disconnect the bedroom lights because no matter how many times I press the button on the sense+ it does not turn them on or off. Sometimes it can turn 1 of them on but the other just don't give a fuck.

I turned the Legend of Zelda into a 4D Experience!

I used black triangles and blocks to turn the whole room red when the Blood Moon rose in Tears of the Kingdom! 🌕

New ceiling light buzzing

I got the new ceiling light and installed it properly. Flipped the breaker on, flipped the switch on, and…it makes a horrible buzz. I thought, “maybe it’s just when the lights are maxed out. I’ll probably never have it at 100%, so let’s try lower.” So I set it up in the app, connected it to Matter, all went well.

I drop it to 80%...still buzzing. I drop it to 60%, it’s getting pretty dim…still buzzing. I drop it to 45-50%…the buzzing stops entirely. This is far below the threshold of usable light in the room, so it’s unacceptable.

I contacted support and they were very responsive; I explained the issue, sent a video of it, tried different colours, front and back on or off separately, nothing really helped. Once it uses a little more power, it buzzes. Support suggested a replacement and it got here pretty quickly.

The replacement has the same issue. Trying to get a refund now. Maybe I’ll wait for a hardware revision and see if they move away from the worst, cheapest, garbage power supply and LED drivers.

Stay away from this device if you can hear old CRT TVs or old fluorescent tube transformers. It destroys a quiet room with the noise.

On the positive side, their support was very good. Sucks about the light, but at least I got real humans and not some AI slop responses.

I made one of my favourite movies 4D!

I already love Blade Runner 2049, but this takes it to a whole new level. I feel like this is the perfect movie for 4D sync. I'm super happy with how this setup turned out.

Thread bulbs and strips are terrible

Are the wifi essentials bulbs actually reliable? Cus the thread ones are just trash. Especially lately. I have ones that fall off HomeKit almost every day and then have to be reset to fix it or they screw up all my automations. Same with the damn light strips

Nanoleaf support is telling me my damaged order may take 8–10 weeks to resolve. Is this normal?

My Nanoleaf order arrived with badly damaged packaging. Some of the Block panels had actually come loose/broken away from the LED panels, and there are scratches on the Pegboard Desk Dock and controller holder.

I contacted Nanoleaf and provided photos. They opened a claim with the carrier and told me I may have to wait 2–8 weeks for the investigation. Until then, I’m expected to keep all the damaged products and packaging.

They also can’t confirm whether I’ll get a replacement or refund until the investigation is complete.

Is this really how Nanoleaf handles damaged deliveries? I find this customer service response pretty shocking, especially considering the condition in which the package arrived.

Is the Nanoleaf 4D V2 worth it in 2026?

I really want some lighting for my 32-inch OLED monitor. I am curious about what people have experienced with their PC gaming setups, since I have had issues in the past with direct-connect RGB strips when using HDR or streaming DRM content.

I know there are the camera options and have heard mixed things on it.

looking for help. nanoeaf floor lamp will not connect to WiFi. It used to connect just fine, then we moved and it was in storage for a month and now won’t connect. I have 3 others that all reconnected just fine. I already factory reset this (3 red flashes), still no dice. Any recommendations?

Light alarm doesn’t work

I have Nanoleaf panels on my wall. in the app I set an alarm for x time, but 50% of the time it doesn’t go off and the other 50% it goes off a random amount of time early, eg; 4:42 am last night when it was set for 8:30. I’ve updated it, repaired it, and nothing helps

Where can I sell 18x Nanoleaf Triangles?

It seems like selling isn’t allowed here, so is there a better forum to post this on? Already tried Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace but the listings have been sitting for a few weeks.

I have 18 brand new Nanoleaf Shapes Ultra Black Triangles across 2 boxes, 9 panels each.
