Napoleonic grand strategy gaming
This is a game I've been working on for the past few years and hoping to go to KS with it at some point this year. It's called Forged by Fire. It's a 12 round game with several major powers, but two main alliances: The French Alliance and the Coalition. The game is victory point-driven, most nations have special ability cards, and the combat and diplomacy have unique mechanics. No two games are usually the same. I figured I'd start showing this thing off since its largely done, but the final execution would be the kickstarter. What you see in the pictures is a full playable prototype but not all of the materials used are the premium/final result that I hope this becomes. If you want to follow it's development, I have a FB page I regularly update: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1074477217079598

Duke of Warsaw It continues now
It takes a while to finish. But somehow I've developed a liking for painting them all. The next ones are also ready to go. My first goal is to finish a small battalion.
Chasseurs a cheval!
Chasseurs A Cheval! Not my best work but glad to see them done. Detail was a bit lacking and my style didn’t really suit them. Hope you like them anyways!

Help Understanding Basing
Hello Napoleonic peoples!
Myself and a friend are painting and building our first battalion of 28mm Napoleonic models. I wanted to base the miniatures in a way that will allow us to play black powder in the future but we mainly just enjoy building an army. I did the research and I think I figured it out, but was looking for some validation from the experts. I'll write my plans below, I'd be very grateful if anyone could either confirm I'm doing it right, or tell me what I'm doing wrong.
Battalions need to be 240mm in width when in line formation so I'm aiming for that. We are doing a French army so want aesthetically to have lots of bodies, so we both want to do a 36 man battalion. Our first battalion will be french guard, and will have 4 companies of 60mm X 40mm bases, with 9 miniatures to a base.
After this we want to do a line company and do 6 companies of 40mm X 40mm with 6 miniatures to a base.
Have I understood the basing concepts correctly? And is there anything we are doing wrong with this plan?
700 SITES ALREADY UPLOADED
and many more to add up.
We are working on the last tune ups and testing before releasing it as we keep working in researching for more battle sites, monuments, art, museums and landmarks around the world to expand our data base.
If you know of any special landmark that we don't have to miss, please send as a message here or an email to nAPPoTrails@proton.me
