Soggy, a mod here, has just been removed from being our mod and will be banned here shortly as soon as i can find her on here and ban her lol. You wanna know why? You might know her from being kicked out of r/theredleft however long ago that was. The reason she claimed was due to there being some kind of coup essentially, at least that's what ended up being the popular belief, and that she was unfairly being taken over by other mods. However, not only did that end up NOT being the case, but she has also just been extremely shitty in general, the most egregious example of this is her sexual advances towards the other members of their discord server including a mod, who were minors. Sure, she was also a minor at the time of these instances but that doesn't negate the fact it's wrong. All of the people that came forward stated that they were uninterested and have expressed this, she continued. One person even stated that the advances occured while they were drunk and that soggy claimed to have a kink of acting sexually around the intoxicated because it gives her more power. Aside from being sexual and flirting with other members she was otherwise uncooperative, manipulative, and power hungry. The "splits" she describes with her and the red left were just minor disagreements between her and the mods. Soggy was one of the first mods i put on the subreddit, but i never really interacted with her very much one on one. If i did, i might've been able to find out about this sooner and have her out of our subreddit, because this kind of behavior is unacceptable. The rumors of r/theredleft still persist because of her and i sincerely apologize for being a partial reason for that getting platformed, with her being a mod on our subreddit. If any of you guys have experienced anything from any member of the subreddit especially a mod alert us immediately, and we will deal with it as soon as possible, and thank you for the victims of this for speaking out and thanks to u/Polytopia_Fan for bringing this to my attention in the first place

Objectively speaking any form of leftism is beneficial in combating the chuds. However, i've noticed that some people have been overestimating the implications of people like Mamdani winning. As a politician he's one of the better options we have for sure, but this does not mean that socialism is going to reign victorious over the US finally. To many of you this is obvious, but to some leftists like to think "yeah, the left is winning everything!!!" How can we be sure this is anything long term? Sure, more people in some parts of the nation are waking up, but their reliance on electoralism and reform rather than trying to help mobilize the lower classes and marginalized groups towards something more direct will be their downfall. They still have to play by the rules of the old system, and sure, suppose our next president, SOMEHOW, is a demsoc, hell maybe even the president after that too. Do you think their victory will last forever? That later down the line we're not gonna be right where we started again, with a new trump taking power? To be in a position of that amount of power, you're just gonna end up working for the status quo. I'm not saying not to vote for demsocs, do whatever the hell you want, but i'm just asking certain leftists in some spaces to stop being so corny about this and think a bit lol
